I got products from them and pay monthly by debit order. I do not get paid early in December and without notification or asking they have taken the debit orders early. At least find out if our pay date is early or what date. Not nice if you do not have thousands spare for Christmas.
Nothing worse than being on leave and being called before 8 and so many calls for a family member who happens to be under debt review. No matter how much I explain they call continuously every single day.
I ordered a huge set from Homechoice in September. The first debit order was taken 1st October. I was notified that my items were handed over to a courier. Now going through my messages I see that the items were returned to the warehouse. I reversed the debit order as I was not going to pay for something I did not receive. Then I receive an sms saying my payment of a double debit order will go through the end of October showing me a balance. I then requested a callback as when I called the lady could not hear me. The lady that called me back was helpful and cancelled the debit order. The reason was the items were returned - and believe me there is someone at home all day so it was not delivered by the courier - but never credited. Scary as this means the debit order will continue to go off. So glad I got someone helpful today, but their systems need to be looked at.
I was having doubts about getting the products payable monthly. I never confirmed the debicheck but the debit order still went off. On the 13th August another debicheck message popped up and I declined. I had still not received the parcel. I called to cancel and was told the cancellations department would contact me. Now I get an sms saying they cannot get hold of me, yes my cell does not have signal in the office but you have my office number too. Funny though when they wanted to sell the product, they called on my office line.. now to cancel only my cellphone number. Makes me wonder...
I needed a loan for expenses and was asked to pay R 2500 so I can be removed from Debt Review. I paid the R 2 500 after being told the loan was guaranteed. Now they want another R 2 500 and in the same breath tell me my affordability is a problem. This is just a big **** and I will be speaking to a lawyer to recover my money as I am sure this is a business committing ***** on people
The CIT service was good in the beginning. However lately the service is really atrocious. Out of 4 pick up days in the past week, they have only collected once. Today when I called at 10:38 as they did not collect yesterday, I was told they are near. It is now after 3 and I was told at 14:40 they would be here within 15 minutes. I report the non collections bur do not receive credit for the missed collections. I cannot believe the lack of service and the whimsical manner in which they treat their clients. Would not recommend them to anyone.
