I ordered a phone on 23 June was supposed to be delivered today. Haven't received the phone, haven't received a reason. Followed up on the three emails, and no response. Should have used Takealot. Looks like I can now cancel the order, but that would take another week for a refund! shocking service. Don't buy online from them.
I bought a replacement generator from Builders Centurion and took it back the same afternoon. They could not refund me and gave me a Builders Card with the refund on the 26th. I have been from pillar to post but they haven't refunded me. Sent all my refund docs to Live Myokwana at MASSMART on the 30th, Two weeks nothing then they demanded a statement of account on the 14th. No feedbakc and no refund yet. Multiple emails and calls nothing.
I bought a Mahindra Scorpio-N 4x4 Z8L from them in August 2024, trading in my faulty Scorpio-N 4x4 Z8 ( which went back to the dealership 16 times). On the first drive home, I noticed that there was a knocking noise on the front suspension, I test-drove the car on the Highway and took it back the next day. I received an email from the DP that explained it was a Tie-Rod end (this has obviously proven to be a misconception). The worksheet I only received last week showed it to be an Upper Ball Joint - The difference is that if the UBJ bolt loosened it would mean the whole wheel detaches. There have been numerous reports on this happening. I am not sure how this was let through the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection), as it should have been a known issue.
I have bought two Mahindra Scorpio-N's 2023 a z8 and a 2024 z8l and both have defective steering racks. I traded the first one in on the second only to have the same problem.
I bought a Mahindra Scorpio-N 4x4 8L ( my second as the first went back 16 times to the dealership and had a defective steering rack.) The second one (500km) is now at Atlantis Motors Centurion and has the same defect (they haven't been able to fix it in three days) . Is it normal for Wesbank to finance defective vehicles?
After months of misery, I asked Mahindra South Africa to give me a new car. After some negotiations a new car was allocated and the savings on the car was used to settle the white Scorpio-N 4x4 problem car. I got a new Scorpio-N and returned it within 40km as the tie-rod ends were literally rattling loose. The car was already worked on before I got it, the service centre replaced numerous parts including flat spot tires. The car was returned on Monday to me (Another 3 days of walking), and is showing the exact same signs of the steering rack problem that was the main issue with the first one. So instead of selling me a new car, I have now been warned by Jolene Barun the Customer Care Manager that they will be taking legal steps against me for publishing my thoughts on this whole ordeal.
I bought a Mahindra Scorpio-N last year, the car has gone back to the delearship 14+ time in the first couple months of this year. I lodged two complaints - 85361635251 // CRSE0498 the first was sorted. The second was lodged on the second of May - CRSE0498 - [External Email] CRSE3591 - I received an email with the 5 days to confirm and follow up on the complaint - I had to follow up on the 28 as I received no feedback. The case was then escalated to Lizelle Wellsted who followed up. The case was closed with no resolution, and no follow up from Wesbank. The car is going back again for another steering issue and I sent an email on the 2nd July asking for more information on whether I should lodge a new case or continue on the same case? Still no reply.
Shocking service, I went to the hardware store, got advice and bought everything I needed, by the time I got back to my wife, she only got her drinks order taken. So I asked for a takeaway. So yet another 2 oclock awakening, after a engen customer blasted his music the hardest he can ourside their quickshop. This has been a regular iasue and can't seem to be addressed.
