On 09 March 2026 I received a call from SARS and spoke to Antoinette Vosloo. She called cos according to SARS I owe them 6 Tao and couple of Rands. She wanted to know the amount I could afford to pay monthly and I suggested R 600. She said it's fine ad I thank her for understanding me situation. Today I decided to check me payslip and already there is a Garnishe order of R1500. You can understand the shock of my life when I saw that. Now Refiloe from the same SARS just called me and wants to make arrangements. Kanti what's really going on ko SARS. I thought I was protected from the Garnishe after the call of the 9th but it seems not. Sometimes to be a law abiding citizen in this country is just not right.
It's Sunday. At 08:26 Am and now at 12:37 pm got a Missed calls from Cartrack. I thought the Debt Collectors Act 114 of 1998 and the National Credit Act 34 of 2005 applies to everyone who conduct business in South Africa. Maybe I need to find out if those rules don't apply to them.
Bought my car from SA Motorcoporation 2022 December and ABSA financing the deal. If I am not mistaken the car was R 169 000 and was told that I needed to pay a Deposit of R90 000. I am paying more than R 2300 a month. I paid and thought that the amount will be used to pay part of of the asking price. It's 2026 but me balance is still close to R 90 000. Kanti vele what's the use of the the Deposit if the balance stays the same after 4 years. I paid more than 10% of the asking price but I see no changes. Is this how things work of the car financing world? What am I missing?
Cartrack phones me are night even on Sundays for collection. What does the law says bout calling times for collections. Also I don't have contract and an on a month to month basis but still getting charged the same amount as I was in contract. I have all their time calls on my calls history.
Can someone please explain how deposits works. 2022 sometime in December, I bought a 2016 Kia Cerato for I think 169 000 if not more. I was then requested to pay a deposit of R 94 000 if not more. Paid the amount and thought this will somehow assist in getting installment down and finishing paying off in a short space of time. Just checked my statement and the balance is R 90 000. Kanti how does this deposit thing work? Shouldn't me balance be extremely low especially after paying a deposit of more than 10%.
I stay in Kagiso Krugersdorp and for the longest time Net Nine Nine has been the only ISP. I have in many occasions raised my frustrations through this Website and promised that should there be competition I will jump ship. I am happy to announce that there a new ISP that's busy laying their infrastructure and soon as they are live, will the last time Net Nine Nine get my money. Even if they are expensive compared to Net Nine Nine I will definitely be leaving. They kinda service if good and will spread the word and hoping that many of us will leave this company called Net Nine.
Bonitas moved to Marara Pharmacy after I downgraded as a punishment. I was with Pharmacy Direct before the downgrade. Marara offers the worst service and I am today 5 days without my chronic Meds. I have forwarded the updated script but still without Meds. The worst thing is they won't phone you if they have a problem but wait for you to suffer and call them. The 25th I spoke to Neo who said me script was received. Yesterday I called, spoke to Aubrey who seemed to not know anything. Then he put me through to a Even who also was not helpful. My question to Bonitas, am I forced to stay with Marara even though they provide the worst service? Can't I change maybe to Dischem or Clicks. This is not the 1st time I have brought this to your attention. I need change and Marara is not it
2025/08/21 I called the Nedbank home loan department asking for proof of residence that shows both my wife's name and meself. I specifically asked for the latest statement. The lady I spoke to send the wrong one. 2025/08/22 I called again and spoke to Maxine. Asked her the same thing and and like the previous lady gave me an incorrect info. Called again and spoke to Nkamo Khaiba, explained my frustrations to her. Took me details and asked me to log to the App and accept something, did that and after she put me to another department. Spoke to Brian and like everyone gave me details of the house I used to own and sold. No one has the details of the house I moved to 3 years ago. Called again and spoke to Lebogang who also did what everyone before her did. She then put me to another guy Martin Nkuna. Sat on the phone with him for 30 minutes. He like everyone also gave details of the house I sold. After being kept on the line, he Martin Nkuna said he will be consulting with his team leader and will get back to me. That was at 11:50 and I am still waiting.
DSTV offers the worst customer services. I tried getting help from them on their WhatsApp services from 15:30 and my services are still not connected. I also don't understand why a reconnection fee has to be added if I don't have any contract with them. BCCSA should honestly look at that. From 15:30 yesterday I spoke to Sinombongo then Nomzamo and last Charlotte. Charlotte I must say is the worst agent cos even when I kept repeating how long I have been on their WhatsApp chat she didn't even take a moment to apologize on behalf of the company. I brought to this to her attention but she didn't even care. Had to beg her to acknowledge that. It now makes sense why most of are leaving that nonsense for other streaming services. I was given a bank account number, paid and asked 10 times to send POP and still am not connected. Simple things are made so difficult even with the POP in their possession. As I am typing I am not connected. The WhatsApp thingy was not fully researched and their agents are no different from government employees. They think they are untouchable and can't be corrected.
Dear Old Mutual, Your Robotic calls are really a nuisance. I keep on blocking you but somehow get to call me cos you change your numbers. Please remove me numbers, both MTN and Telkom from your Database. Should I be interested in whatever you are selling, I will be the one contacting you
