I am a seller on this portal. My stock is going missing and I think its even being ****** by the staff. There's no help from them at all! I gave them proof of delivery from my courier company that I use. Then they start asking for impossible documents which the courier company cannot provide. This is a tactic for the Takealot support team to stop helping you. How can a box of items be delivered and only 1 goes missing? This is not the first time this happened. They are not accountable for their actions at all. The support team tries to beat around the bush because they themselves cannot allocate your missing items. The worst part is, when its ****** or misplaced, they do nothing about it nor will they even try to refund you.
I placed a bulk online order and Makro Springfield Park in Durban dealt with my order. The order was placed on 16 October. First the funds came out of my account so I thought all was good and well. Then after 3 days I realized nobody has emailed me an order number so I called them directly. I had to go through the hassle of emailing them proof of payment. One week later they deliver only part of the order with 2 boxes missing. They argued that all the items were delivered. I had to go through the trouble again of getting proof that only part of the order was received. Once all the information was sent to them, they acknowledged which items were not delivered. I told them I do not want to wait for stock nor do I want a credit. I asked for a full refund. I emailed them confirmation of my banking details so they could refund me. It is now 8 November. Arushika and Kabelo have been of no help what-so-ever. I'm still sending emails to Kabelo in the online department and he has just completely ignored me. I still have not gotten my refund, as well as no response from these employees. Not worth buying from Durban Makro online store. How can you deliver goods partially and not solve the problem afterwards? and on top of that ignore the customer?
Hi bought a brand new TV for R7000 from Game pavilion shopping center. The TV started giving me issues within the first 2 days. I emailed them and they didn't respond. I told them it's not acceptable for a brand new TV to go completely blank while watching. Furthermore, it sometimes doesn't want to come on at all. They think I'm just suppose to accept a repair on a brand new TV. A brand new TV should not be repaired. This means they sold me damaged goods. They are just ignoring my request for a credit and full refund. I also contacted Hisense. I told the manager to give me a full credit. He has not contacted me either. He's just ignoring my request.
Absolutely dishonest company to deal with! I own a business and I opened an account with Glue Devil in Durban. They sold me 32 cans of spray paint which was expired. Within the course of a year or so, customers started returning the products saying its not working properly and something is wrong with it. Suddenly one customer noticed the expiry date and when I checked all the stock, every single can of spray paint was expired. I tried to reason with them and tried to get them to at least exchange the stock for unexpired paints instead of returning everything. They ignored me completely. They are not helping in any way and trust me they knew what they did. Always check the expiry dates when you purchase from them! Very very dishonest company.
Extremely disappointed with FNB services. I have both my personal bank account and business account with them. About 2 weeks ago someone stole funds from my personal bank account using a **** medical aid as a reference. They made it look like an online transaction/ debit order transaction. My card was basically cloned. I phoned them immediately to report it. They said someone will be appointed to my case. Its gone almost two weeks now, there is absolutely no feedback or help at all.
