More than 2 hours without mobile internet again today and they have the cheek to deduct 4 cents every month if you don't use the internet - even if the simcard is not inside a phone or if the phone is 2G. They will deduct that from your airtime like a donation to their company each month.
Internet has been off the whole day. Not been able to do any work. This company, like all the others in South Africa are t-r-a-s-h. I hope the please call me guy sues you into oblivion. All these mediocre ISP getting away with ******* poor service because you are all equally u-s-e-l-e-s-s
Don't buy from this company if you are renovating your house. They seem to cater to corporate or bulk sales. They are unprofessional and will treat you like dirt and waste your time and money because you are of no consequence to them. They will call you via Whatsapp, instead of using email or their landline phone, which is very unprofessional. In person they will tell you they cut and deliver slabs but after you spend days choosing a product and visiting them on-site, if the products are on sale/not expensive enough, they will no longer offer cutting or delivery options and tell you they have too much cutting jobs already and they only deliver products that they cut, so you have to arrange all those yourself or go through some third party delivery that they set you up with but they will not accept any responsibility for damages upon delivery.
I bought a kitchen sink at CTM on Friday. I wanted one with a pre-cut faucet hole. The sales person showed me one of the floor models with a pre-cut hole and so I bought it. Upon collection I checked and saw no pre-cut hole. I asked the sales person why she **** and she said there were markings underneath to guide the hole cutting - I checked and one of the dispatch guys checked as well and there were none. So she **** to me again. I asked for the whole purchase to be refunded. Their useless card machine could not refund back to my card and the refund transaction was declined twice. I asked to be refunded in cash and they refused - said they did not have that much cash in the store, even though there were many customers paying cash while I was put through this ordeal. The manager went into hiding and so they got the deputy manager. Then they wanted to email me a form to fill out in my own time and for them to refund me in their own time via EFT. This after costing me bank fees for the purchase transaction, lying to me about the product, refusing to refund me in cash (which is in violation of the consumer protection act), and wasting more than an hour of my time processing the refund. I had to ask them to email me proof of this utter disgraceful refund failure because they would not provide me with any proof that they owe me more than R6k. I am still waiting on my refund and I am taking the matter further. I emailed CTM customer care and they have still not rep****.
Worst ISP on earth. takes 30min to hour to upload 2MB documents. they ruin your life and cause you to fail tests/interviews. highly unreliable and useless. today was the last straw.
Telkom is a terribly useless *********** company and most of their staff are the same. I give Telkom 0/5 because today I had to call them 5 times to fix my wifi issues and they wasted >4 hours of my workday and kept me on hold for more than an hour.
This company deserves less than zero rating. I'm writing this more than 14 days after the traumatic incident because I'm still reeling from the horrific experience and the shockingly utter incompetence and lack of obvious crisis training and sense of urgency from your staff. And based on the number of online reviews and your poor rating I see that I am not the exception but rather the rule. Some emergency services watchdog should declare your company and staff unfit for operating in emergency services and you should be stopped from operating. During my emergency, while the patient was bleeding out and I could not control the bleeding, your call center staff seemed bored and asked a lot of questions, including how to spell my street name: B-A-....etc but then they incorrectly registered the address as R-I-...etc. thereby sending the ambulance to the wrong address and taking almost an hour to arrive, after asking us to stand outside at night, to wait for them. Why ask me my address when you just make up your own?! The ambulance driver and crew were just as useless, passing the call between them, and I was even asked to spell the street name phonetically. I called your call center and ambulance more than 7 times that night. I would not recommend your useless company to anyone in distress or a serious emergency situation. You make any situation worse and also put your clients in danger of opportunistic crime by asking them to wait for your ambulance outside in the street at night.
Took them a month to cut my boards, they cut 10 wrong and now they are rude over the phone and won't help me. I have to waste my airtime to fix their mess.
I just bought a 50 kg bag of cement that broke in half - the whole packaging just tore open and crumbled as we lifted it out of my car. Your staff must have given me a bag with broken packaging! This is so unacceptable!! Cement all over my car's boot, inside my car, shoes, clothing, garage floor, inside my house!! I am disgusted beyond words!! Never mind the health hazards!!!!!!!
I bought wedge sandals (on sale) this winter and now that I want to wear it I notice that the wedge heel material is peeling off. This, after I was treated so badly for returning another pair of sandals. I am thoroughly disgusted in your poor quality products and service. I also bought a pair of black boots, which I doubt are real leather - when I compare it to my bronx and catepillar leather boots/shoes. The hide food doesn't apply the same way and they have a chemical/plastic/faux-leather smell.
