Good day drone world, It is amazing how quick response was when I was in the market to buy a Robot Vacuum Cleaner. And how sluggish it has been ever since I PAID for it…??? e-mails go unnoticed, WhatsApp’s go unnoticed, and I am now sitting with a useless Robot Vacuum that does not work. And ALL because a Bush on the mail brush is not in stock now for months. The MOP function has never worked, and I have sent countless videos and explanations of what I have tried and how it does not work. This seems to a waste of my Bread and Milk money for the week (I will spell it out – SARCASTICALLY…!!!) R12, 000.00 wasted. It does not seem easy to post on drone world’s web site. So, I will post on Hellopeter.com
In April of 2021 I purchased a Shark IQ Robot Vacuum and an Accessories Kit for the Shark. It turns out after phoning and speaking with Shark support, the the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi did not want to work here in South Africa. the support technician said that she cannot help and that I should look at returning the Shark IQ Robot Vacuum. So I followed procedure and start the return process, got all relevant paper work completed and received the UPS waybill information for the return. However, when I had repackaged and took the Shark IQ Robot Vacuum to the UPS depot; they did not want to accept the return information. This meant that I had to pay the equivalent price of the Robot Vacuum to send it back. The Robot Vacuum and Accessories Kit cost $549.99 + $23.99 = $573.98 (ZAR8715.58), and the return cost me exactly ZAR8715.58. Oh WOW what a coincidence...??? During the discussions with support, I was able to get $250 per item, as the support gentleman said that is all he is allowed to allocate. Hence, from the $573.98 - $500 = $73.98 which is not too "shabby" if one thinks about it, take it as a "handling fee" then. Then what about the ZAR8715.58 (equivalent $573.98) I paid for the return...? If this is how Amazon conduct themselves from overseas, then what is it not going to be like when they eventually open their merchandise branch in South Africa (HQ in Cape Town already)...?
Appalling service, appalling customer, appalling after client service, there is no replies at all…!!! One can e-mail, WhatsApp and try phone; and nothing. The recording says they will get back to you. My WhatsApp’s have not even been read since 17 August 2021, making it over three weeks. I got an e-mail stating the order is being processed, a month later I inquired where the goods were and eventually got an e-mail stating they will give credit to my account. I can buy something else… Well that has not happened, I have even asked for a cash refund; guess what… …no response, and still no credit passed either!!! I think this business might be scamming people and taking the money, in one of the e-mails there is mention of moving. Maybe we should get the police involved with this…?
I have been very happy with the Sales service at Pc Link Computers. And the after Sales services has also been very pleasant. Although I did not have the correct contact details, the person helping me gladly passed the details on and helped me close my purchase without any glitches.
I have been very pleased with FirstShop. Every time I order online they are quick to respond, the order(s) are delivered quick and efficiently and "ON TIME". The once or twice I made an error, FirstShop was quick to help and rectify. Thanks FirstShop for making my experience the best in today's rushed and competitive world. Keep the good work up...!
