After apologising on Hellopeter.com after my previous review, it is now a week after CellC's second failed attempt to deliver my phone and nothing has happened yet. Someone from CellC called me yesterday, 20 April, asked a few questions and said she'll call me back in a few minutes. It's a day later and I haven't heard a thing yet.
Our brand new service provider, Herotel, only connected us a week after the date that they were supposed to, according to our contract. It took many calls and emails to eventually get them here to do their job. 2 weeks later our internet was off. We called their helpdesk early Friday morning to reported it. By mid afternoon we called again, only to find our that the person we reported to, never opened a ticket. On Monday we went in to their offices in Stellenbosch because no-one answers a phone. Apologies, excuses and promises. Still nothing. After contacting an aquantance at Herotel, we had a technician here on Monday afternoon, who could not find the fault. Yesterday, my aquantance informed me that the fault was traced and fixed and that a technician will come at around 12 today to connect us. 2 hours later, no sign of Herotel. We called them and miraculously, someone answered the call and put me through to the scheduling department, who did not answer their phone. Over 6 days, the only response we got on our emails were auto replies. Their customer service is non-existing. Their support is pathetic and useless. Stay away from Herotel. It is a waste of time and money.
Booked and paid for a ticket yesterday, the money went through on bank account, but no confirmatio of flight yet, despite several messages and proof of payment sent to their customer care since lasy night.
A while back, my purse was stolen with a @Home gift card from my son in it. My efforts to get help at the branch where the card was bought were in vain, so I went to @Home Living space in Somerset West. I wanted to find out what time they closed so that my son could bring his ID etc after work to assist in blocking the card. When the young lady doing sanitising duty at the door saw my disappointment when she told me they close at 5 every day, she asked if I had a problem. I explained my problem and she invited me in, called the manager and from there on I got all the help I needed. The staff went out of their way to assist me and they regularly called to keep me updated on the process. Jaimee, Warren, Bianca and Stephanie are the kind of people who build a great reputation for a company. Especially Jaimee, who could have pulled up her shoulders and sprayed sanitiser on the next customer's hands, but didn't. If it wasn't for her caring and helpful attitude, I probably would have walked away, fed-up with @Home. Sterling service like this is hard to find these days. Thank you @Home Living Space Somerset West!
Esi handled the transfer of a property we bought last year and it took 15 months before the property was registered in our name. I have experienced better service from the traffic department, home affairs and the post office.
Due to incompetence and sloppy work by estate agents and conveyancers, registration of our house took 15 months. In this time, Doss repeatedly renewed the beetle and plumbing certificates that have expired, adding thousands of rands' worth of plumbing 'repair work' to items that are not even on the check list for the COC. On top of that, they ignored the fact that neither a beetle nor a plumbing COC is required for Stellenbosch.
Due to the sloppy work of an incompetent, unscrupulous estate agent at Keller Williams Somerset West, transfer of a house we bought was delayed for months and it took 15 months before it was registered in our name. I sent a complaint to their head office weeks ago and was assured that they will look into the matter with the branch, but no-one bothered to get back to me. The only difference between their service and the service one gets at Home Affairs, the post office etc, is the price you pay.
