My Oder was scheduled for Monday 02 March26. I waited the entire day but no delivery. I called the number provided and the lady promised they would deliver same night. I called again today and I was promised it will be delivered before 12 noon. Now I received a message , delivery is scheduled for Wednesday before 7pm. I’m deeply disappointed in Takealot’s failure to honour their promise.
I’ve been trying since last Monday to transfer funds my cheque account to my Standard Bank credit card but app just says unavailable try again later. I finally used my wife’s account to make the transfer. I purchased electricity on Saturday at about midnight. The money was deducted from my account but I have never received the voucher. I had to buy from my Capitec account. Standard Bank’s app is nothing but useless as I’ve had too many bad and frustrating experiences. The chat robot tells me at midnight to contact my banker or the nearest branch😁😁😁. My banker simply palms me off and refers me to client services. Why have a banker?
I was promised that any claims on my Warranty policy will not affect my no claim bonus. I recently had a claim and was told that my policy terms and conditions have changed and my no claim bonus go forward will fall away. A unilateral decision was made and according to the consultant an email was sent but it was never opened. Insinuating that I did get the email and they not responsible . Hopefully the Ombudsman will assist. Please if you had the same experience join me in complaining to the Ombudsman .
To avoid the busyness and due to a lack of time I used the Pick ‘n Pay asap app to make a purchase. I received my purchase only to be told that one product is sold out. Now it means I have no choice but to drive to the nearest Pick ‘n Pay to make the purchase. I vow never to use Pick ‘n Pay Asap purchases ever again.
Legalwise promised me that they will provide my attorney the required instruction last week. I received an email today a week later with old correspondence that I have had in my possession for years but no instruction. As a Platinum member I pay R285 per month for service excellence not incompetence and stalling tactics. We await your instructions not copies of old emails. Don’t blame the system. It just takes one phone call to confirm if the requested documents have been received.
I took out a warranty policy with OUTsurance approximately a year ago. It was clearly stated that ANY CLAIMS on my Warranty policy will not affect my no claim bonus on my household and car insurance policy. Upon that understanding I took out the Warranty Policy. I did claim on my warranty once and my no claim bonus was not affected. I submitted a claim today only to be contacted by an Outsurance consultant to inform me that my no claim bonus will be affected. I challenged that and was told that my new policy document was emailed in July 2025 and the new changes were included in my policy. Did OUTsurance mislead me initially to get the new business and now that they enriched themselves they make UNILATTERAL changes without telephonically contacting to discuss it and give me the option of continuing the policy or not. As a PENSIONER, I would have gladly taken my business to one of their competitors as it's just a warranty policy in order to safeguard my no claim bonus
My Attorney informed me that he was writing to Legalwise for further instructions with regards to our matter. On Friday 07 November 25, I was informed by my Attorney that Legalwise has not responded and He cannot proceed further until Legalwise gives him further instructions. I urgently request that Legalwise get their act together and respond as it’s going for 8 yrs and we still waiting to settle this matter
Lanseria staff were very friendly and helpful. I had no problems before and after checking in the vehicle.
I’m a Platinum member paying R380 per month. I have a crisis situation where I’m being deprived of seeing my grandkids. I called Legalwise in the hope that they can assist me with obtaining visitation rights via the courts. I’m now being told that my Platinum membership which is the highest membership does not cover me for such matters. This is my problem with companies like Legalwise when u claim then you are told you are not covered. It’s an absolute *******. I wanted to cancel my policy a few years ago but I have a matter which is in court being handled by Legalwise for 8 yrs now and I’m afraid if I cancel my policy I’ll be told by Legalwise that I am no longer a member and my cover is seized. The minute my existing case is concluded my membership with Legalwise will conclude. I can’t wait for that day.
Just being ignored by VW. My car was serviced by VW West Cape but after 2900 ks, it was jerking damaging the coils due to faulty plugs. VW could only offer me a service date for a week later, giving me no choice but to use another company. VW now tells me they do not rely on third party dealers' diagnosis and my plugs were not changed during the service. I guess the customer must change the plugs. It's a joke. They violate my right to repair showing blatant disregard to the Right to Repair act, acting with impunity and have just ignored my last email sent on 28 May 25.
