Miladys gave feedback on my review but I haven't heard from them as promised.
Surely there must be a way to deal with this useless rude bunch. How big companies can still make use of them I cannot understand. Due to a previous review on Hello Peter requesting a paid up letter for a Mr Price account tgat was settled by debit order approx 3 years ago. I received a paid up letter which was reversed!? by them....cannot get my head around this move. A email was send to me stating that this Mr Price account is still outstanding! I then requested a full statement not from MBD but from Mr Price, I just got a laughable statement with MBD including calls etc which I never received. Ridiculous. Btw Im still waiting for my full statement from them. Now all off a sudden I get daily sms re this so called Mr Price account to settle the outstanding amount. I got a call yesterday 16 May wanting to get a acknowledging re the so called outstanding account. I told the *********** person that I got a paud up letter from MBD and he actually asked me to send it to him.....very funny.. .I must send MBD their paid up letter. That account has been settled approx 3 years ago but even if it wasn't then the account prescribed. This morning after another harassing sms I called and a very rude person decided that she doesn't like my attitude and told me that she does not want to speak to me and slammed the phone down. In the meantime I cannot get another Miladys/Mr Price account opened with a now reinstated good credit rating only reason is this amount showing on the system even after the paid up letter that I got. My only hope now is the ombudsman.
Why do big institutions still make use off these guys? Totally unprofessional. 6 years ago a account with Miladys was fully paid up to MBD by debit order. Eversince been trying to get a paid up letter. The details is still at itc! This prevents me from opening another account. I have send numerous requests to mbd re this matter. No reply...but all of a sudden I get harassed (daily sms) yrying to bargain payment for discounts on this Mr Price/Miladys account from 6 years ago! What a bunch of useless people!
Woolworths customer care playing the fool with a customer complaint. I bought Woolworths rotisserie chickens at two different times and stores. The first time I just let it go but after the second time I decided to bring it under there attention that lately the chicks are very small especially at the price R99. They were dry and still very red on the inside. The response was that they needed batch numbers, expiry numbers etc etc. Who keeps a rotisserie bag... and the pricing label does not include all the detail. So I feel like someone is trying to make fun out of me. Definitely not how I would treat a consumer complaint.
A case for the Popia act. These guys sending personal detail from someone to my phone by sms....secondly abput a so called MTN account that was used and paid up 2002! What a joke these people are. Obviously not knowing the word "prescribed". We will however lay charges against them for firstly from my side harrasment and from the actual person which had the account 20 years back for violation of the popia act by giving and sending information re the wrong person.
Fnb takes R180 for late merchant banking when swiping card. Also take a fee off e bucks!
Mbd has been violating the popia act. They send strangers with the same surname e mails with confidential information. Actually harassing them. The account in question does not even belong to me, I have told them so on numerous times. Also by looking at this account it is a prescribed account. I will be laying charges and so wull the people that has been send e mails. We will be telling the story on every form of social media and Carte Blanche and radio shows.

Dissapointed. Account for 3 years never been behind. Always paid less than R1500 per month. Due to unforeseen private matters payments were falling behind for 2 months. Still paid but not full installments. However every month corresponding by e mails and phone call, which btw I have been told this morning by a quite abrubt acs lady that they called me...keeping them informed. My situation returned to normal so I made a arrangement beginning July to settle the arrears amount by 31 July. When I asked if my account will be fine after that I was told that it will be back as before. Nothing was mentioned about handing over etc. So early July I teceived a sms informing me that if not paid by that day account will be handed over. I called straight away explaining what my arrangement was re 31 July. I was told not to worry it is only a computer set message and my account will be fine after the arrears payment. So yesterday 26 July went into store paid actually more than the arrear amount just to be told by a very friendly lady that tried calling them but the line kept on dropping, still no new ctedit limit showed up on sistem. This morning I called in and firstky was told that my credit available is back on, then she said she is going to put me through to collections. There I was told that I must call acs. I couldn't understand what was going on, the first lady said all was in order and suddenly changed her story by sending me to all these diffrent people. Acs then abrubly told me to call Blake and ass because account has been handed over! Firstly I did communicating regularly, secondly although not full installments but payents was made monthly, thirdly we had a arrangement for full arrears payent 31 July. This was done by 26 July! And Fourthly I was told by them that my account won't be handed over as long as I stick to our arrangement. Now I would like to know if this account is fully paid up as per normal installments does my account go back to normal with my normal ctedit limit or do they just close the account? The Acs lady didnt want to say snything she just keot on saying call Blake and Ass and could not find a record of my call recently questioned the sms. It is humiliating knowing that for 3 years of being a top customer, getting this type of treatment after you as a customer did everything correctly. You didnt stop paying or didnt run away or ignoring them.
MBD give detail to the wrong person by sms. They started pestering my ex husband (divorced since 2001) dont know where they got his number. He explain to them that we haven't had contact for many years. After I have spoken to them confirming my number, which they had on file, and asking to please remove the wrong number they went and send a sms with all the detail to my ex number again. But if you phone them, if you can finally speak to somebody you need to answer a lot of questions to make sure it is you but they send private stuff on a sms without checking. Don these guys just decide to phone people with the same surnames randomly....
