Rentalcars.com are a bunch of crooks! I rented a car and stated that I land in Cape Town international airport at 20:00pm. I rented Woodford through rental cars.com. When I got to the airport I was told that Woodford closed at 19:00pm. And hour before I was supposed to pick up the car. I called Woodford emergency line and the guy confirmed that they closed at 19pm and that the money was not paid into Woodford yet so rentalcars.com will refund me. It has been 5month of me trying to get my refund from rentalcars.com and they refuse to refund me saying I was at the airport at 21:00. Only because I finally got a hold of them at 21:00 after thrifty helped me get hold of them. Moreover Woodford closed at 19:00 anyway so even if I was there at 19:10pm I would have still not found them. They refuse to refund me.

I joined the membership for R150K, I paid for it until July of 2018. I owed R50K in 2018 / July when I lost my job. I never used my membership for the 16 months I had paid for it. Since 2018 October after finding a job again I asked them to reinstate my membership which I owed R50K on. I never record any correspondence since then. 2021 I finally found the telephone number of the rep who o took membership with. I asked him that he sends me the breakdown of reinstating my account since I have waited since 2018 October for someone to help me. They send me a bill below which shows I now have to pay 3 times what I owed. Reinstatement admin fee : R 1765.00 Points/Contract : R 169 971.63 Annual levies 2021 : R 9500.00 Annual levies 2022 : R 9603.00 Points allocation 2021 : 50 Points allocation 2022 ; 50 Kind regards Golf Resorts Club SA Then the rep told me it’s better to join afresh and pay R150K. I agreed on the premise that he finds out what happened to my membership and credit the money I have paid in the past for my old membership into my new account. When he couldn’t I started writing emails to account and memeber service. I have written 13 emails so far in a year and no reply. Instead I stopped the debit orders and waited for someone to call me hoping they will help. Every month when they try to debit my account and it comes back they call me to say I should pay my account yet theu canr sort out my problem. Then the guy tells me everytime to write them an email which I have done now for the 13th Time and still nothing is done. Yet they call to tell me to pay the account! Bad company!!
Our booking was changed from 30th - 5th. So we checked in at 7:30am on the 1st. 3 hours later we checked out as we were not happy with the hotel. We were told by the hotel to pay a full 1 day of hotel and all inclusive meals which came to 300$. Yet we only used the room to shower and had breakfast and checked out. They said we should pay for breakfast, lunch and supper and the room. Now we discover as we are arguing with them at reception that the money the Hokiday club has charged us for the meal plan is actually hotel room plus food. So actually we did not get anything from the hotel club, instead we paid R5000 on device fees and were told that the hotel fee as we are using our membership. Only to find out at the hotel that the money is actually for room plus meals. They have made us believe we will only pay for the meals at the hotel only to discover we are paying for meals and the room. So what have We paid for with the points plus the R5000 we paid upfront?? Now when we told the hotel that the room is prepaid for 5days and we only used 3hrs of the room so they can keep the remaining 4days they said nobody paid them we have to pay the full amount for the room and the meals we didn’t eat. The holiday club was only deceiving us!

i took my car in to repair a sunroof material that was loose, my sunroof went in working perfectly but came out not working at all, the only thing they had to do was change the material, they now broke the mechanism of the sunroof. Deon the manager refuses to take responsibility for his incompetent staff and say the sunroof mechanism was going to break anyway due to wear and tear, on a 5year old car he insist that is BMW for you, it starts falling apart every 5years. this is the worst service ever. It had made me hate the brand BMW. i would strongly recommend BMW club motors to be on the repairs approved list. Im actually going to focus my energy on removing it from the BMW approved repair list. Nobody should ever have to go through what Im going through with Deon.
