Very disappointed with the helpfulness of FNB! I have been an FNB customer for 13 years and never had a major issue until now. During Covid lockdown i was placed under debt review and now that i have zero debt i can finally be removed from debt review, or so i thought... I need paid up letters from all my debitors, which i got very easily! Except for FNB, it has been more than a month struggling back and forth with FNB trying to get a paid up letter for a temp loan. First i tried email, no response, then i tried calling, but all they do is transfer you to the next department that transfers you to the next and the next to no avail. Then i tried the chat service that always ends the same, allow 24hours for the letter to be mailed. Yet nothing, no letter. So i took off from work to go into the branch, but they can't help me and said i should phone personal loans for the letter, i told them this same story, but they said they can't help, i should phone. So i phoned again and yet again the transfering cycle is what happens. Now tell me, how should I get off debt review if the only letter i need is for an FNB temp loan that FNB is failing to provide??
Alright, so since may 2022 i have an issue that just doesn't get resolved and i don't understand why as it is such a minor issue.. A temporary loan that is in arrears of R10 which FNB failed to deduct the whole amount. Now this outstanding R10 is reflecting negatively with the credit bureau. Circumstances prevent me from going to a branch but is that not why FNB is available telephonically? But every time i phone them, i get told they will transfer me to the relevant department. This cycle continues four to five times until i get transferred back to the first department i was transferred to. Why FNB? Why is it so difficult to sort out an account in arrears that you are at fault for? And now I have a bad credit record because of it.
Seems like the only way to get any response from vodacom is through leaving bad reviews. This is my second time battling with the same problem with vodacom. I had 2 contracts with vodacom, can read my other review about the first contract, now with the second contract it is the same issue but with some changes. They don't inform you that your contract is done, they just renew it monthly and debit you without consulting with you. Is that not theft? We had an agreement for 24 months and no longer. Yet they just continue to debit you after the contract expired. If i call customer care, they say they can't help me as i am not using a vodacom number, if i whatsapp them, i get the same response, if i email them, they say the service was moved to Tobi support channels, if i use Tobi support channels, they say they cant help me at the moment. So what am i supposed to do? Should i take legal action? I don't want to but why must it always be an issue with expired contracts?
How to begin? I have been a Telkom mobile contract customer for the last 11 years, i had absolutely no issues with them until end of last month (july 2023) let me explain. So on 26/07/2023 i got an sms stating my account payment is as follows. R1317.13 for end of july and R580.50 overdue payable immediately. So that is a total of R1897.50 correct? On 27/07/2023 my service was interrupted due to the arrears amount and i paid R581 immediately to have service restored which it was. On 29/07/2023 they took a debit order of R1897.63 of which is the R1317.13 plus the R580.50 arrears, i didn't mind as now i know i paid R581 in advance correct? Then on 04/08/2023 my service was interrupted due to non payment.. Now i was confused. So on 05/08/2023 i phoned Telkom on 081180 and asked what is going on? The consultant told me the mistake was on their collection department side and my service wil be restored within 5-24hours, great thanx. But my service never got restored. On 10/08/2023 i phoned Telkom again, explained the situation and the consultant confirmed that i paid R581 in advance and told me my service will be restored within 5 hours, also apologized for the inconvenience. Now today is 14/08/2023 and my service is still not restored. So tell me? Is this how Telkom mobile gets customers to refer others to switch to telkom? Or maybe after 11 years i should switch to another provider?
Why do vodacom still have customers? Oh i know, because they plainly refuse to cancel an expired contract! I have mailed them, phoned them, went instore, they refuse to cancel an EXPIRED contract and just keeps on trying to convince you to take another contract. And in the meantime they keep on taking money for the expired contract! I don't even use the vodacom sim anymore, haven't been using it for the last 2 years probably. It is expired and i still have to pay for it? Why?? And why won't they just cancel the contract after it expired? I am starting to feel like it is theft at this point.
This courier company should close their doors, they are incompetent! My package was delivered 400km away from me in another town, luckily the person who got my package contacted me and sent me photos of the package with the delivery address clearly printed on it, so how the hell did they deliver a package in whiteriver when the address is for mokopane? Now i have to use the courier guy to go and get my package.
So, my girlfriend and my mother went to Tymebank to open an account for my girlfriend, i was working and could not take her. Later that day my girlfriend got a message from an unknown number (it was the banker that assisted with opening her account) he said that if she has any questions, she can ask him. She did not respond to his message. He sent another message asking if he can give her a compliment. So she just responded by sending a question mark. He sent a message saying she is very beautiful. He followed with another message saying that he can see she is in a relationship but would still like to chat with her. She then told him politely no. Now, what my girlfriend and I don't like about what happened is the fact that he got her number from the Tymebank system without her approval and used it in this manner. This is highly unprofessional in my opinion. Tymebank Mokopane is the bank in question.
I paid the full amount they requested to assist me with illegal debt review, they took my money and i never heard from them again.
