I tried to buy a camera bag from them online. My bank required all the security questions to be answered and approved of the sale. I then got an email from Parks Cameras headed "Action Required - Your Park Cameras payment failed..." on querying this I got the reply "Thanks for your email. If your bank was able to authorize that payment It is possible it failed our vetting process. Our payment provider is more cautious than many due to the nature of our business and amount of fraudulent activity that persists. It is not uncommon for us to need to request alternate options form customers." I have never heard of such nonsense before as my bank had cleared the payment. They even had the audacity to invite me to do more business with the even after I told them that "If they could not trust me why should I trust them" Needless to say I got the same deal from another supplier without all the nonsense.
Order #42440894. Your product (2pairs) that was delivered to me are not the gloves that I ordered. The gloves that you advertised had rechargeable batteries with a button to switch them on and set the heat required. The gloves that arrived after 16 working days are not the ones that you advertised and they have a box for 3 AA batteries and only an on/off switch. When I tried to use them at work on Friday they did not even get warm, in fact there was no difference in the warmth and 3 brand new batteries died in one hour. I cannot even open your review to make complain and if I did you would get a minus 10 rating. If I do not get a replacement of the correct 2 pairs of gloves in 4 to 7 Working days like I paid for of the correct gloves I will contact PayPal to have my money returned and I will report your company to Hello Peter for false advertising. When I tried to contact them via email the email bounces and the link provided to leave a review sends you to a sit to continue shopping. The company says it is UK based but I suspect they are in China because the stated delivery of a few working days took over 16 working days. MY ADVICE STAY AWAY. Barry Roper
I thought moving to a "First World" country things would be much more efficient but then I tried to open a Savings Account with Natwest Bank, What a disaster. First off their online application system is years behind as it would not let me apply because it wanted my Visa HELLO Spouse visa holders only get a single entry visa in their passport that allows them to get into the UK to collect their Biometric Residence Permit so there is no current visa. Then they wanted bank statements again HELLO I have only arrived in the UK and am trying to open my first account and so the fences are put up in front of me. So I phone the call center to only get another run around and waste of time. My next approach is the local branch where a very pleasant young man says that they do not open accounts in the branches. He did offer to help me and gave me another call center number here the lady said no I must take the required forms to the branch and they will certify the required documents and forward them to the Head Office and I as told to expect my card within 3 to 4 working days on the 18th September 2020 I got a letter from the 'Telephone Banking Team' with a reference number, HIP HIP HOORAY some progress or so I thought. Every week since then I have phone in only to be told that they are working on it. Today 13th October at 12h55 hen there has still been no progress I phoned again and now I am told that there is nothing showing up on the young mans system and that I must be patient because there are big delays due to COVID. It is now over a month and I am no further than I was when I started the process. I asked to be put through to a manager only to be told that they are not doing call backs also due to COVID What UTTER RUBBISH, WHAT ARE THE MANAGERS SUPPOSED TO DO IF NOT SORT OUT PROBLEMS? The worst part is that I am having to turn down work because I do not have a bank account and this is costing me money which I am sure the bank will not reimburse me. Barry Roper
We went into McDonald's in Regiment Way, Chelmsford, Es*** for lunch today. The lady Caroline at the front was so cheerful, helpful and welcoming it was unbelievable. It made our meal a really pleasant experience. Congratulations. Barry Roper
I tried to open an account with Barclays Bank in the High Street Chelmsford this morning and the lady at the door needs to be given some lessons on how to deal with the public. She was very abrupt and said that I needed to book an appointment and did not offer to book one for us I an 67 and my wife is 69. She then rambled on something that they do not accept a letter from the Dept. for Works and Pensions as a proof of address as she said there is too much fraud. She said that you do not accept my BRP card as proof of ID. I also have a letter from our GP and another from the Chelmsford Council stating that I am registered with them as a voter. The whole time we spoke to the lady she kept looking away as if she was hoping that we would go away. After this I am not going to give them my business. Barry Roper. PS. One star is one star too many
I wanted to transfer my South African Account to the UK as we have moved so after working through a heap of computer generated Voice questions I eventually get a person on the line who promptly tells me that he cannot help me but I must make a new application. So I go onto the website and after a search only find that I must apply again so I complete the form only to have them come back in a few minutes to say my request had been declined. I then sent them an email and this is what I said. : I find that this is highly disappointing as I have been a customer of American Express in South Africa since 2003 with a revolving credit limit of R67 150.00 (£3 000.00) and a Credit Balance of R4 789.00 (£217.00). All that I wanted to do is to transfer the account to the UK yet you blankly refuse to do that by telling me that my application is refused." I must say their service or lack there of stinks.

We went to the Clear Water Spur this morning for breakfast and I had to park at the other end of the Parking. When we left I told the Dragon to wait at the entrance and I would pick her up. While she was standing there one of the waiters noticed and went and stood by her as he was not happy with some of the types frequenting the entrance area until I arrived with the car. Sadly she did not get his name but to the Management and Staff well done
