Attempted to get some service at Pick n Pay Bottle store in Benmore today—- the shop was empty with me being the only customer inside. The cashier couldn’t assist and so she asked the supposed assistant—- he wouldn’t even move a single step to help me find some champagne. I duly left without buying anything. Little wonder that Pick n Pay isn’t doing well!!!!!
*********** rude staff at Dischem! They have opened a brand new store in Parkmore to replace the small pharmacy which had previously been there with wonderful staff and excellent service. NO LONGER! Having emailed a script to them earlier today, I went to collect my chronic medication—- should take 10 minutes! I left 45 minutes later without anything. There were more staff members in the store than customers. They were clogging up the entrance and aisles with raucous laughter, pushing each other around but zero attention to the less than 5 customers. I asked where I could find an item and received a wave in the direction of the entire store with at least 10 aisles. Seriously?? Then, having collected my medication, attempted to pay. More tellers than clients but once again, zero service. Everything in a zipped bag and loaded on the system by the pharmacist. But this was beyond their skill set. Over R2800.00 worth of medication which I eventually left without. NEVER AGAIN!
On Saturday 11October I paid DHL for a courier delivery to HPCSA in Pretoria—- not cheap but I'm needed secure delivery with proof. R560.04 for an envelope to go fromJoburg to Pretoria. On Monday 13 October I tracked the delivery and was informed that it had been delivered at 08h15, but there wasn’t a name of the recipient nor was there a signature. They now suggest that I go back to their office to complain??? I have spent several days trying to trace the delivery and absolutely no one has received it. On contacting DHL, after more than 10 calls over 3 days I am told it was placed in a letter box!!! There are 2 buildings at HPCSA and the envelope with important documents cannot be found. 10 days later. THIS IS NOT WHY I PAID A COURIER R560.00!!! Had I known how *********** DHL was I would have driven through to Pretoria and hand delivered this personally—- less stressful and more reliable than DHL. And they have informed me that my “consultant “ should have informed me that this I what they do. SERIOUSLY??? They have also refused a refund for an item that has disappeared.
Very disappointing service from MiWay after losing a brand new pair of prescription glasses. Umpteen phone calls, emailing police reports and invoices but not received and generally jumping through hoops. For a R16000.00 pair of glasses I will receive less than R800.00 ! My monthly premium exceeds this! Time to change! Total waste of time claiming from them!
Having bought some frozen mussels this morning, I looked at the back of the package for cooking instructions. There was quite a bit about boiling water , adding salt and then the pasta but absolutely NOTHING pertaining to cooking mussels. Hopefully they were using fresh packaging and not something that had just been recycled from the trash! I asked an assistant whether they had and salmon and I was waved towards the frozen section. No salmon whatsoever but she clearly didn’t like being interrupted. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
I cancelled my Telkom account several years ago and returned the faulty device. TELKOM continued to bill me despite several visits to their offices in Rosebank, Benmore and Morningside as well as phone calls to their “customer service “. They continued withdrawing money from my bank account via debit order despite the fact that I did not have any service from them. I eventually cancelled the debit order with the bank. And Telkom continued sending accounts for a non existent service. They then handed me over to NuDebt debt collectors—-they send threatening emails but NEVER respond to and emails sent to them. They are now threatening me with black listing. This is in direct contradiction to the laws as set out by the National Credit Regulatory Board. Please advise
I have just been into Sorbet at Sandton City in the hope of having a manicure. Fat hope!!! Five staff members and not a single client in the store. One person at the desk on the phone but absolutely no acknowledgement of my presence whatsoever by anyone else . Eventually the receptionist—presumably—looked up and asked what I wanted and I said I wanted a manicure. She did not react in any way but continued looking at her screen. I eventually walked out. Sadly, staff need to be trained to greet clients, acknowledge their presence and then try to accommodate them.
I have had a Netflix account since its inception. However, for the past 2 months it has become impossible to use it. I get error messages and am told that I don’t have a subscription. I then have to jump through hoops to verify my account—-but this happens the next time as well. Pointless trying to contact them. Time to cancel and get a refund
I have previously enjoyed shopping at Yuppiechef and have bought many big ticket items from them in the past. I was given a Nespresso machine fairly recently as a gift and it has started leaking. I took it in feeling that Yuppiechef would be able to help me. Not a chance! They want proof of purchase, invoices, email addresses etc which I cer*****y don’t have or keep for gifts. And so I cannot have this fixed. Really pathetic service!!!
My daughters gave me a Nespresso machine for Christmas fairly recently. I have used it but certainly not a lot. It has stated leaking and I thought that this would be a simple thing to fix. Not so!! I am told that the machine is “obsolete “ even though it looks exactly like the new one’s being sold. They refused to fix it but have offered a discount on a new one🤢🤢🤢. Not a hope in hell that I will ever buy one of their products!!
