Whenever I want to disconnect a service, there is a problem! There is never a problem when I want to connect a service or make a payment. I could never disconnect a service from the website or app. It always states there is a problem - contact an agent. Then you go on live chat, and 30 minutes later, the agent tries to tell you he can't do it - I must do it on the website. Doesn't matter that I just told him I couldn't do it - it never permits me to do it. Always a long story before they disconnect the service. Today, they keep on telling me they can't do it - I must do it. WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND -it doesn't allow me to disconnect the service. Not once before did the system permit me to discontinue a service!! Absolutely useless.
It has been more than a month, and still no goods received! There is no phone number to call. No tracking number received. No communications. This is a **** site - don't buy from them!
My order is still showing processing after 10 days. They promise delivery in 2-5 business days—no communication or tracking information. Will never use it again - ****!
It is impossible to get any service from this company! After more than ten emails and over 30 auto-response emails from Telkom - I still haven't had one email from an employee! Over three months now, and still, I can't change my fiber package!
These guys are just amazing - online orders are super easy. I've twice bought items from them, and they pack and ship on the same day!
They might be the largest bulk water utility in Africa and one of the largest in the world, but service levels need to show it! Day 7 without water in Pretoria-east. Day 38 without water for 2023! Always blaming someone else - like we are using too much water - we don't have water for eight days, and still, our reservoir is 0%. It is incompetence, lack of planning, and lack of investment in infrastructure that causes these problems. Still, more and more mega-developments get approved and opened by our president in our area without building more water reserves. You can't even supply the present population?
I requested a USD withdrawal on 8 Dec 2023 to be transferred to my USD Forex account with Discovery Bank. In over 5 weeks, they still can't get this simple account correct. Two failed swift payments. I had to leave on my international trip without these funds and it is costing me financially. the Standard Bank call center is pathetic... you get cut off and not much happens. The email way of communication is extremely slow if you get any response at all. I requested to speak to a manager to no response. What more must I do to get this transfer done?
The new Vitality Travel website through Discovery bank is excellent, with all the new airlines, etc., available. I booked my first Airlink ticket but didn't receive a receipt for the payment made that I require for our company expenses. One can't download one either. I tried to call the call center - terrible service. They only answered the phone after 37 minutes. I enquired about the receipt, and the lady asked me to hold the line. In the meantime, I was buying more airtime! After a total of 41 mins holding the phone gave a ringtone again and got answered by a voicemail to say the person wasn't available-thank you for calling, and the call was ended. This isn't acceptable, Discovery. Please call me back and sort this out; I will not hold on for another 40 mins. My Trip Reference: 88BF100.
Fraudulent! Bought aircon worth over R5000. Never received the goods and nether got the promised refund. Many promises, but no delivery!
I bought goods via their online store, order nr ********** 2. They delivered only half of the goods 4hours late. The next day I followed up on the missing items and I was advised that they didn't have enough cold bins for my goods, but it is on the way. Never arrived. I phoned again, this time the excuse was that the waybill numbers were incorrectly placed on the coolers...but they will bring the goods. I advised them that it was urgent as I need the stuff. They promised it will be delivered by 19h00. No joy. Phoned again..this time they advised me that the delivery car was in an accident, but they will bring the stuff. I am still waiting. I then cancelled the order and bought the goods required from their competition. I requested a refund - the call centre kept me on the phone for 25mins and promised that they will call me back. Still today no refund, neither any calls. After many more phone calls and promises, still no joy. You do not deserve my business any longer. You feel nothing for your customers.
