Had a horrible experience dealing with this company. In the beginning, they are very responsive, eager for your business. once the payment has been made, they literally drop off the face of the planet. When i was eventually able to take delivery of my shade net, i was surprised by the quality of the workmanship. When i was installing the item, i realised that the size was also incorrect and when I tried calling and messaging them, there was no response. messages were read but no responses. I had to buy additional items just so i could install and still use the item. I always try to support local and small businesses as far as possible, but this company definitely does not deserve this benefit.
Affiliated to AliExpress as their "preferred" courier in SA, these guys have absolutely no idea about customer services. No doubt they are probably a subsidiary of AliExpress, otherwise I cannot fathom how one of the Biggest online retailers can subcontract probably the most important leg of the ecommerce cycle to such idiots. They never respond (except through their BOT) directly to a claim or query. All the responses are preprogrammed and completely off the topic. Their website's customer services link is dead, their SA contact number doesn't work their whatsapp service is preprogrammed jargon. How do these guys think customer services works? When i do get a response of relevance, i am told that my package was waiting at the post office and since their was no response the package was returned. No notifications or calls in this regard, but the tracking comment indicates they could not get hold of me on my cell. But during the time of them trying to get hold of me theres countless emails and whatsapp messages checking for updates.
For one of the biggest online shopping websites in the world, their Customer services and ability to understand a simple issue is pathetic. Never mind the fact that i had to pay exorbitant duties and shipping costs (almost the same price as the goods). After handing over the goods to their courier agent (Speedaf), AliExpress wants to take NO accountability for the issues relating to tracking and delivery of the packages. i Have 3 seperate orders (3 different Ali suppliers) and each of them have the same issues with the courier. Definitely never buying on this site ever again unless they get their shipping and local SA courier agent sorted!!!
