Bought a lounge suite quite a long time back and recently one of the cushions tore. Phone coricroft and enquired whether the cushion or fabric could be replaced. Suggested I email them which I did, phoned and whatsapped.....nothing!! no response to email gobbledy**** on whatsapp . Thats it no help!
Our bookkeeper informed us that ABSA had locked our account without notice. Despite 1 visit to the bank, 4 phone calls and 8 emails nobody at the bank knew how to fix this! In fact no official at the bank took much notice! We are now in the situation where we cannot pay creditors or our staff. No amount of pleading for help has helped. The best we get is it will be passed on to a complaints official who will get back to us in 3 to 5 days. Big help.
There are some companies that should never attempt on line ordering! I ordered a number of books from Exclusive Books on line on 18 November 2020. I received a message stating the amount I needed to pay and was given a delivery date of 4 January 2021. I red paid immediately but also thought it weird that it would take one and a half months to deliver. I have dealt with many online companies and the longest it has ever taken for my order to arrive was max one week. Anyway I waited patiently and when it got close to 4 January I sent emails enquiring whether my order was on track. No response! I then phoned and was told that they would investigate and phone me back. They phoned me back only to inform me that none of the books I ordered were available!!! So I wasn't informed at the time of placing the order that there was no stock and took my money for one and a half months. Good grief how incompetent is this and would I ever deal with Exclusive Books again, you guessed the answer! I asked for a refund.
Used this company for magazine distribution whereby one had to pay in advance for 6 months or a year for a subscription. Suddenly the company closed down without warning still owing me and I am sure other subscribers. Tried to contact them but all one gets is the message we are closed. Anybody else out there with the same problem.
This company is a division of Caxton CTPrinters. It is a magazine distributor where we have been subscribing to a particular magazine for a long time, Suddenly out of the blue we receive an email from them saying that they are shutting down and will no longer be distributing our magazine. Never mind the fact that wee have just recently renewed the subscription paid in advance. What about a refund? They sent us a form to complete which we returned beginning of June 2020 but no sign of a refund!!!!
I challenged Game on their slogan "We beat any price" when I discovered that I had bought a printer from them which I shortly afterwards discovered to be R700.00 more expensive than at another company. Well just try this on them, after a month and 7 Game officials all trying to side step the issue, they are now trying their best not to pay according to their slogan even consulting their legal department!
I purchased a Canon printer from Game online 14 May 2020. Soon after I placed my order I found the identical printer for much less at Takelot. Now Game loves to boast "We beat any price! If you've purchased any item at Game and, within 21 days, find the identical product at a competitor for less, tell us and we will refund the difference!! Well sounds grand but try it, I have sent Game and various people a request for a refund but NOTHING! They arre trying everything to get out of it!
I have to congratulate and commend Superspar Knysna on their anti corona precautions. Went there on Sunday 29 they restricted access one out one in there was a queue of people waiting to enter and there were white lines two metres apart with signs requesting people to comply which they did. The bakery section had X's for one to stand on also far apart. Then there was a screen seperating the cashier from the customer similar to a bank teller WOW!
One doesn't known just how slow the post office service is until you use registered mail! I always thought that registered mail was a sort of priority delivery srrvice , how wrong. Handed in a reg parcel at Knysna to be delivered to Somerset West on 11 Jan 2016 today 30 Jan still hasn't got there that's three weeks to travel 450km!! Sent a second reg letter to Somerset West it got to George 60 km away and for 16 days it has stayed there!!
