I unfortunately had to give a one star.I’ve ordered 2 items on 26th of September and only been able to collect one of the items. For some reason the other item was sent to the wrong pick up point and up to this point I have not received any notification or estimate when I will be able to collect it.I have requested a refund for the item as I have reordered it and it should arrive faster than waiting for the wrongfully routed item.
My mom-in-law was nominated main member due to her husband passing and a debit order was authorized on our bank account, but now for a second month in a row, I had to manually do the payment and her medical was suspended twice! Terrible service
We did a change of ownership into my name from the deceased name. I've completed the change of ownership forms with the debit order details supp****. Last month I've received an email stating that I am late with my payment and the services was suspended so I paid the R200 manually. End of September same thing that I had to pay within 3 days the R150 to keep my services. I've paid it that day and the services once again was cut stating account not paid even though I did a manual payment and received a receipt. Eventually this resulted in a technician that came out to have a look at the decoder and a fee of R450 was incurred which I feel would not have happened if DSTV was doing their bit in handling my account correctly. Wow first 2 months with DSTV and already I want to cancel the service!
My last experience with Makro was not as pleasant.I ordered My Wellness Superfood smoothie as well as another supplement on 3 July 2025.The one supplement I’ve received super quick, but I am still awaiting the smoothie. They keep saying the will provide feedback, but I’ve received no feedback not estimated time of delivery
Absa has always been good to us for years, but our recent experience has been somewhat challenging. We have app**** for a multiplan that was approved and understandable, a requested amended insurance schedule was required. We have done that and it was sent through on Friday last week. Today, in the afternoon, Absa got back that they now request the erf number on the insurance schedule which we are not even sure that it can be done, as the company works from a drop down list when the address is added. I advised my broker about Absa's request and has been advised that VERSMA's internet was down. I feel Absa is causing unnecessary delays which is resulting in our delayed payout. We have been with the same insurer since our home bond and with a previous application, the erf number was never requested to be on the documents.
Recently bought a Cape Union Mart voucher for 1500 miles, "worth" R500. No Terms and Conditions were stated upon advertising of the voucher, only when the voucher was bought, it stated no sale items. I checked on their TC's on their website for which items qualify for this voucher redemption and most of the items there's only XS small sizes available. Many items on the list is not even available ay Cape Union Mart. One of the nice puffy jackets is only the list, the mens siya hooded jacket, but is on sale and apparently not for redemption with this voucher. This "reward" has so many grey areas and is really not worth it. I believe Discovery Vitality should reimburse our rewards. This was a real boeboe reward and one of the most terrible rewards bought from them
Absa living up to its nick name gabsa again! We were offered to join Ultimate plan this month. We were charged a monthly account fee of R140 in the beginning of the month for the gold account before we changed over. We were also charged R24 for a transaction fee for heaven knows what!! Now we have been charged another monthly account fee of R54 again yesterday!! This is absurd! I feel like we should leave Absa which have been our bank for years and years and go somewhere else, anywhere else.
We cancelled my husband's policy on the 24th of April 2025 and we specifically spoke to accounts department and my husband sent an email at 21:38 that same day to instruct cancellation. The accounts agent stated that he should request Liberty to remove his banking details which he did. We were even told that we are still in time before the cut off date to cancel the life policy, yet they still debited the amount resulting in us having to pay R40 for the bank to reverse the debit order. Needless to say the shocking customer service speaks for itself hence why we left Liberty Life. They tried to coerce my husband into keeping his life policy with Liberty after he gave instruction to cancel and they failed to comply. Liberty should be liable for the bank charges we incurred due to their failure to follow our cancellation instruction.
Momentum seemed fine when we did the initial screening, but things started to go south when it came to the actual quote and medical tests required. They are actually requiring my husband to pay for doctor's consultation fee for their required tests, just because Momentum doctors are not in our area. This is the first time I have come across an insurance company that requires of the potential client to pay for the doctor's visit in order to complete their requirements and it does not even guarantee that they will be happy. Also medical exams are required of a isolated incident my husband had in Feb 2014 which he has fully recovered from. In fact the doctor did not even required a follow up visit in 2014 after he was treated.
We have never watched Ster Kinekor movies since we have been back from UK and now that the movie The King of Kings is showing, we wanted to watch it with our 3 kids ages 7 and 5, but due to the 'age restriction' of PG 7-9, we are unable to take our 5 year old twins which is absurd!!! On Angel studios the movie only has a PG rating and they are the ones who brought out the movie. Who gives Ster Kinekor the right to add their own restrictions and preventing younger kids from knowing the King of Kings. I will most certainly NEVER take my kids to a Ster kinekor movie theatre. Not only are they expensive, but the are ridiculous in the sense where God's name is used in vain during screened all age and PG animation movies, but a movie that has a Biblical narrative, they add more restrictions so young viewers who's really meant to see it, cannot view it
