If anybody is still thinking of joining Byers Security, I would think twice and definitely not recommend them. Their sales staff makes all kinds of promises, indicates it is included in the joining fee and can then not deliver on it. Empty promises. The technical team did not even know the Texecom app and admitted that. The salesperson was fully aware of the type of panel I have and still indicated that he worked with those panels while he was at Chubb. They even had to phone the Texecom technician for assistance. Now the sales manager has phoned me and is not prepared to compromise and is adamant that I pay for the additional wire that needs to be installed to connect the panel to the electric fence energizer. Thus I have cancelled my contract with them with immediate effect. Obviously is new business not a priority and neither is client satisfaction.
I placed an order on 10 February and have not yet received it. The payment went through and I received an email indicating that my order had been received. I have tried several times to contact them telephonically, but the number stays engaged. I have also tried communicating via email and no response. I am sure they are ****ming people in ordering and paying for goods that they never deliver. Going to open a case of ***** with SAPS and report them to CIPC as *****ulent company.
HiFi Corp ran a special from 05-16 April 2023 on the Milex Dual Air Fryer at R1 999.00 On the 6th I phoned the stores around me to check stock and was told that the stock had not yet arrived and that I can also order it online and if not successful then to call back the following week. I created an account online and added it to my shopping cart order and it indicates the price of R1 999.00. I then clicked on the Secure Checkout and it showed that there is no stock for delivery or collection at any store. It did however allow me to go to the next screen but then it changes the amount to the original amount of R3 499.00 I have phoned the HQ on 0860 459 459 numerous times but the phone just rings. I have also emailed them and they actually responded to the first 3 emails and in my last reply, I asked that a manager please contact me. This did not happen. I spoke to the N1 City branch again on 14 and 17 April and they informed me that they had still not received any stock. I have checked the online store now and phoned N1 City and they indicated that they have not yet received any stock. This is clearly false advertising as no stock was available countrywide. I expect HiFi Corp to honour the advertised price of R1999.00 This is not the first time that they advertise items and then do not carry any stock.
MTN is the most pathetic and unprofessional service provider! I have been trying to contact their customer care line today wrt a sms I received indicating that they could not get hold of me in order to finalize the contract. I have not taken out a new contract and wanted to know if this is maybe not fraudulent. Had to phone 3 times holding on like for 30-45 min and listening to the highly irritating offerings and options before eventually able to speak to someone. The options also do not all work as you have an option of pressing 0 to speak to someone to get told that it is not valid. Just to get told that I must phone another number. Everytime they want your whole pedigree. Actually amazed that they did not ask for the size of my underwear. When you eventually speak to someone you hear a baby in the background crying and like someone is washing dishes or throwing things around. Constantly also being asked if I can please repeat things. Maybe if they were more professional it would help. Yes I know that most staff from call centres are working from home, but come on guys, this is not the way to go. Have a good idea to cancel my contract.
I renew my contract last year and now for the last 2 months, it shows an account added. I do not owe them any monies. This DPP decoder payment plan is ****. It says I owe money on my dstv but I pay every month on time but still it says I owe them and its on my Clearscore now. So it makes me bad on my credit as the score has now dropped by 17 points. I have been a lowal subscriber from when dstv started. If this is not resolved and my credit score not corrected I will be forced to cancel my subscription.
I have been trying to get my fibre cancelled for the last 3 weeks with no luck. Vodacom installed the router on the Saturday morning and the Sunday my internet connection was no more. I have been phoning ********** 4 contineously and also spending hours on the phone (the calls for which i am paying) and they are no help. Spoke to a contact centre manager named Faizal which has apparently escelated it to management. I do not know where "management"is located but it does not seem to be on this planet and no response yet. My new ISP cannnot connect my service until Vodacom has released the line. Vumatel is also no better as they keep referring me to Vodacom. Come on Vodacom make a plan here or do you want to loose more clients?
<p>I have been a loyal supporter of MTN since they started but have had enough now. I complaint about poor signal in 2006 and the service was prompt. They (Andre) installed a signal booster. This worked for 2 years and then packed up. I again contacted them and a technician came out, couldnt sort out the problem and took the booster with. This was the last I saw of them. </p> <p> </p> <p>We are now operating a business and the signal is poor to non existant. I again logged a call. The same technician and another guy came and tested the signal strenght. They indicated that I now fall in a dead zone and that they would have the tower adjusted to include me. They also promised to phone me 2 days later. This has not happened. I phoned them again and was told that they would get back to me. Nothing. I again phoned him yesterday and was asked to please supply the 4 cellphone numbers using this address. This was already done on their initial visit. I was also asked to send an email as part of the motivation as they dont just now a day provide boosters.</p> <p> </p> <p>So I have beeen told that they acknowledge that there is a fault with the network which they can resolve by turning the tower or by providing a booster. None of this has materilaized and I am now sitting with 4 contracts which makes these contracts unusable. I cannot even receive or make calls without gargling sounds coming from the phones and thus making the calls useless. THIS IS COMPLETLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>I spoke to Vodacom and they actually offered to came to my house and give me for FREE a cellfi signal booster.</p> <p> </p> <p>All I ask is for MTN to keep to their end of the contract and do something, anything to improve my signal.</p>
