I have cancelled this service in October 2023. Since then, they keep on debit my bankaccount with R69 EVERY month!! Numurous emails to them, they don't reply. Keep on taking my money. Be aware!!!! Don't join VIU, they will keep on taking your money!!
Be aware of Telkom! You will pay for service that you don't receive!! Their service went down the drain! Don't even consider a contract at Telkom! They've suspended my lines (I've got 7 contracts with them!) three days AFTER the normal, monthly amount went off my bankaccount. PLEASE NOTE: My account was not in arrears! I have phoned numerous times to lift the suspension. Some of their agents are VERY RUDE and ***********, and others are friendly, but make empty promises! After FOUR days of phonecalls, my lines is still suspended. Their service is pathetic!! If you ever consider a contract with TELKOM, rather go and bump your head against a wall, until you change your mind. Rather try MTN, or even Vodacom! Even Cell C would be a better choice!
If you EVER concider a cellphone contract at Telkom.... STOP!!!! Read this first! Most patbetic serviice EVER!! Take MORE than 4 days toe lift a suspension on a line, which was wrongfully suspended. Not helpful at all when you phone with the problem. Ibwould not recommend Telkom at all.
Ek is gekontak deur IPS Health & Wellness nadat ek my lidmaatskap wou kanselleer, aangesien ek nie tevrede was met die produkte wat hul maandeliks aan my gestuur het nie. Die dame het toe genoem dat daar 'n opsie is waar ek R262 per maand kan betaal, en dan kan ek self op hul webtuiste gaan, en aankope doen soos wat ek graag wou hê. Ek hoef nie elke maand te koop nie, maar kan wag tot die geld ophoop, en dan iets koop. Gisteraand toe ek aankope wou doen, kon ek nie, want die voucher nommer wat hul vir my gestuur het, is nie geldig vir items op SALE nie!!! Hoe belaglik!! Hul neem maandeliks jou geld, en ontvang rente daarop, maar jy mag nie items op uitverkoping bestel nie! LET WEL: Die dame wat my omgepraat het om voort te gaan met die lidmaatskap, het abaoluut niks gesê dat mena nie geregtig is om SALE items te koop nie! So mense, wees gewaarsku!! Pasop vir IPS Health & Wellness! Hulle vang mense lelik! Wil natuurlik ook nie my geld terug gee nie, want die geld word kwansuis omgeakakel in PUNTE! Ek gaan dit verseker nie daar laat nie. Hierdie maatskappy vang mense op valse voorwendsels om maandeliks geld van jou te kry, maar dan mag jy as lojale kliënt nie SALE items met daardie geld koop nie. Wees gewaarsku!
I had a couple of small debit orders that went through on my current account on 2 January 2020, which left my account in a minus. I was waiting for a rent payment (R12000), which was paid into my account yesterday, 3 January, while my account balance was around -R642 because of the debit orders. The moment the R12000 landed in my account, I received the sms's where they reversed ALL my debit orders, and charged me for UNPAID items!!! R147 per unpaid item. To pay R147 for a R50 debit order and a R90 debit order EACH, is ridiculous!! Why wait until my account balance is positive again, before reversing all my debit orders?? My salary is also paid into my account on the last day of each month, AND I receive rent on the 10th of each month. Other banks will first send out an sms to you, and give you 24 hours to pay money into your account, BEFORE reversing anything!!! I phoned this morning, and the lady just told me sorry, you did not have enough money in your account the day of the debit order. They can reverse it later, even if you pay money into your account within 24 hours, and charge you that ridiculous fee!!. I am closing my current account with Standard Bank this coming wee****
<p>I had pathetic service from the Call Centre today. I've asked for debit orders to be reversed on my account, after I have stopped these debit order at the branch, and also at the service provider. The lady was not friendly at all, and put me on hold FOREVER! She did not reverse the debit orders! Every time I phone, I have to hold for more than 5 minutes!! Pathetic! Thinking to close this bankaccount.</p>
I was a member of Bestmed, but cancelled within 3 months, (which was my waiting period). Thank goodness!!! I WAS a member, and is NOT a member anymore!!! They had to pay out the funds that was in my Savings account! My membership was cancelled on 31 May 2015. Since June, I've battled to get my money back!!!! They said I have to wait for 5 months, because they have to see if there will be any claims. Duh!!!! It was within the waiting period, so NO claims will be paid!!!! <br> <br> Now 6 (SIX!!!!)months later, NOT 5 months, but SIX months later, I am still battling to get my money!!! They asked for a copy of my ID and my bank statement, which I've send. I even received an automated email confirming they have received my email. This morning, I phoned, because they don't give ANY feedback. The lady told me they did not receive any email!!! Can you believe it!!!!!! I gave her the ticket number of the Auto response email... I'm still on the line with them.... Now she said they will TRY and fix it!! I can expect my money within 5-7 WORKING DAYS!!!!!! Pathetic!!! The service is pathetic!!!
We are on Discovery since June 2015. We've applied for my chronic medication cover, because I have lung and heart problems. The only heart medication I can use, is Corolan. I can't use beta-blockers, because of my asthma problem. Discovery asked for a motivation letter from my doctor. Yesterday, I've send in the 2nd Motivation letter from my specialist, together with a letter from the Cardiologist, to state why I can ONLY use Corolan. Discovery send me a letter this morning, telling me it has been declined!!! The reason: Ons befonds nie hierdie item vir hierdie toestand uit die voordeel vir Chroniese siektes nie. <br> <br> I can't believe it!!!! There is NO alternative for Corolan, and I can not use Beta-blockers because of my asthma! ALL my previous medical aids had NO problem whatsoever to pay for my Corolan!!! Discovery, who is much more expensive than my previous medical-fund, have a problem!! So people, please BEWARE!!!! If you have a lung and heart condition, and have to use Corolan, don't even bother to apply at Discovery!!! <br> <br> Even my UNAT pill, which I have to use for fluid-retention, is only covered for R40. This medication's price is R316 for a month. Pathetic!
We complained about the 3 month waiting period, because we can't see the reason for this waiting period. We are on medical insurance for the past 20+ years, without any interruptions. No other medical aid EVER gave us a waiting period!!! My husband wrote an email on 15 April 2015, and now, a month later, we are still waiting for response!!! In the meantime, all medical expenses are for our own account, although the 3rd monthly contribution was paid to Bestmed on 1 May 2015. <br> <br> Today, my husband phoned to ask for a membership certificate, because we decided to resign from Bestmed medical fund. Three month's contribution down the drain!!!! The lady told him it will take 3 - 5 working days to do the membership certificate, and then she will send it to him!! Beware, pathetic service!!
