I’m writing to lodge a formal complaint about the shocking handling of my order and return. The experience has been slow, disjointed, and frankly disrespectful of my time. The short version 45 days to get the order to me. 10 days (and counting) since your returns department received my parcel with no proactive update. Multiple calls and emails later, I still don’t have a resolution or even a clear timeline. The full timeline (dates are exact) 17 Aug — I placed my order. 7 Sep — I complained about the delay. 10 Sep — You rep**** 3 days later. 22 Sep — I had to complain again. 30 Sep — You rep****; 1 Oct — The order finally arrived (45 days after purchase). 1 Oct — I emailed immediately to say the items didn’t fit. 7 Oct — You rep****, telling me to courier the items back (with almost no practical info). I even went to a branch who said online is “completely separate”, so I followed your online process anyway. 10 Oct — Your returns department received the parcel. 16 Oct — I phoned to check; after 2–3 transfers someone confirmed you had it and promised a callback. No one called. 17 Oct — I phoned again; phones were off. Today, 20 Oct — Still nothing. That’s 10 days since you received my return and 64 days since I placed the order. Why this isn’t acceptable: The lack of updates and the “someone will call you back” run-around is not service, it’s avoidance. Other South African retailers routinely manage same-day or next-day delivery in major metros, and process returns with proactive notifications. Your timelines here are far outside reasonable norms. What I expect now - Immediate full refund for the returned items. - Reimbur*****t of my return courier costs. - Written confirmation today with a clear, dated timeline (refund reference and expected reflection date). - A sincere acknowledgment of the service failures and what you’ll change so this doesn’t happen again. If I don’t have written confirmation and a refund process underway today, I’ll escalate formally — including social channels and a complaint under the Consumer Protection Act for failure to render services within a reasonable time and for inadequate customer support. You’ve now had my return for 10 days with no contact. Please resolve this today.
I am extremely frustrated with the after-sales service I’ve received from Futurama regarding an MTM Predator gun mount I purchased in February. Upon assembling it on April 10th, I realized that the product was missing the back rubbers, with two front rubbers mistakenly included instead, making the mount unusable. I immediately reached out to Futurama via email on April 10th, but after no response (keeping in mind they are open 7 days a week), I followed up with a phone call on April 16th. I was told that my query was being worked on (however, they had never communicated that with me or even bothered replying to my mail), but despite numerous attempts to get an update, I still have not received a satisfactory resolution. On April 22nd, I called again and was told that the repairs manager would only be available at the end of the week (25th) due to the Huntex event. What’s even more frustrating is the lack of urgency in resolving this issue. Rather than simply sending the missing part from existing stock, I’m being left in limbo without any clear communication, nor an estimated timeline for when this will be addressed. The worst part is that I am going hunting in just two weeks, and I now cannot sight my guns in because the mount is unusable (the sole reason I purchased the mount). I understand that there was a public holiday in between, but I’ve dealt with numerous suppliers in the past, and issues like this are typically resolved in minutes or hours, not days. This level of service is disappointing, and I urge Futurama to take responsibility and fix this issue immediately.

Despite the delays, they were quick to rectify the situation and kept me updated throughout. Overall, I would recommend tyres.co.za to anyone looking for a cost-effective tyre supplier. The level of customer service and the quality of the products more than made up for it

I placed an order and paid via EFT (the only option), after 2 weeks I called and they said there was an issue with the delivery partner (a lie), they then said it will be shipped 2 days later (but couldnt provide a tracking number), after 2 days I called again, a different excuse... long story short, it's been 1.5 months and they still keep dodging me (they reject my calls, refuse to respond to emails and whatsapps), they are an ABSOLUTE SCAM!!! STAY FAR FAR AWAY

SCAMMERS!!! Took my money, promised delivery and every week had a different excuse, they then blocked my number and refused to take calls. I couldn't get an address out of them and they still have not delivered my order (nor do they plan to), DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PLACE
I have been using AmpleHosting (now HostAfrica) for many years, I have had an excellent server uptime and their support team is epic! They always answers the queries in a timely manner and always resolve any issue in a short timeframe, I plan on remaining a customer for many years going forward
