On Monday, 1 December, I had a parcel sent with tracking number: PPA72976849456 to me from Cape Town for my friend's 40th birthday party. The promise was that it would arrive in 2-3 days. Seven days later, I have not heard a word about this. Of course, the birthday party has passed, and I had to buy an alternative gift. I am not able to win in their contact centre because of the different numbers keep hanging up. Do not use Post Net (Aramex) for anything that is urgent or important/valuable. As things stand I have no clue when the parcel will arrive and I'm travelling out of town on Wednesday. This might be a very expensive loss on my end — what a ****.
I bought a lawnmower from Leroy Merlin online three weeks ago, based on the 10% discount advertised on their website. The lawn mower was cancelled on the day of the delivery, more than three weeks later. What an absolute waste of my time. This is the third time that my online orders have been a mess. If you can avoid buying from them online, do so. They still have the lawn mower advertised.
I opened a contract with Vodacom in 2021 August. It was supposed to expire, but they extended the contract period to December of this year without my knowledge. I've been sent from pillar to post, and everyone says the following call centre should be able to help. It's the worst service I've seen in my life.
In 2021 I opened an account with Vodacom, which was recorded incorrectly at Vodashop in Melville. This meant that I could not claim or benefit from the airtime and the data due to me for to years. This has not been fixed even after numerous emails and calls. I have been moved from pillar to post for three years. Last month was my last month of the contract and I did complete the debit. Now I'm attempting to close the account so I cannot keep paying, even after the contract period, for a service I continue not to receive. Vodacom is a ******** institution and avoid them if you can. I have never received such horrible service in my life.
In August 2021, I app**** for a Vodacom contract with clear instructions to keep my number. However, mu number was recorded incorrectly by their agents. I took my phone in for repairs as it got damaged and found out that my number was not covered. That's when I discovered that the number was recorded incorrectly. They then allocated my number correctly because it was clear that the issue was a mistake from one of their agents. However, I have not been getting the contract benefits of the contract up until now. I've been calling and e-mailing and I have received promises, which, six months later, have not been fulfilled. I call, e-mail and I'm always told it has been escalated. I'm very disappointed with their service and I cannot wait for my contract to lapse so I can leave their service. Being someone who has never had contracts in the past, this is a reminder why I had stayed away from such. South Africa needs to sort out the allocation of spectrum so that we do not have to use the communications companies. .
They keep calling me even after I said they must remove me from their database.
On the 22nd of December I bought shoes on their online platform. I've called multiple times and was given commitments that my shoes would be received the next day. It has been a week of this now. I'm not sure I will ever receive them but that is the last time I'm buying from them. Their consultants are very smart because they will not give you any commitment on e-mail instead they have now decided to ignore me. Worst is that they will tell you the physical shops have no relationship with the online platform. Irritated does not begin to explain how I feel.
