I opened a Discovery Bank Account just before COVID happened. I was retrenched and unable to use the bank account- I phoned Discovery ask if they can waiver the monthly fees because I was not use the bank account they advise me that they will let me know. I phoned again because I need to transfer or have my salary paid into my Discovery Bank account after another year I decided to phone again. I was told that a manger will look into it and I need to keep an eye on my account to see if the monthly fees become zero. The monthly fees keeps increasing and after a few years it’s over R10k!!!! Extremely bad service from Discovery Bank!!! Definitely won’t change from my current bank to Discovery!!!!!!
This morning I received a call from Ameliah Shari from Nicholas Ngwenya Attorneys this woman dropped the phoned , phoned backed after saying hello 4 times she dropped the call again . I received and email from her threatening me, and at the bottom of the email she quotes a bible verse she also accused me of hanging up the phone or shall I quote this debt collector “you hug up the phone” . I responded to her email which she the replied with another threading email! The law society should really do something about this wanna be law firms that just there to harass people I’m sure she has no experience on how to deal with clients or maybe she is just old and tired or unhappy with. Her job or they might not pay her enough to be tact . After explaining to her and all her colleagues that I am unemployed she still could not understand what I am saying and believe it or not she does not know what unemployed means???? Where does Do they find these people????? Blows my mind!!! And interesting fact she wants to give me instructions about ABSA bank and how to operate the App!!!!

I would like to inform people about Nicholas Ngwenya Incorporated. They have a few people working for them. And being the unprofessionals which they are they don’t assign one person to a client but several each time you receive a call you start fresh cause they don’t communicate with each other if the phone dies while talking to them it’s your fault and they accuse you of hanging up the phone. I dealt with Fani Tracey Joseph Evelyn and like I said after each call it’s a new beginning. They should train these wanna be lawyers to do their jobs properly and try and be a little more tact full. And they act on behalf of ABSA what a disgrace
We’ve been without internet for 4 days but we get charged for a full month??! If only the service was as fast as the processed the payment it would be fabulous. I wish I don’t have to add a star and rather a sad angry face! My husband phoned and after holding on for more than an hour decided to hang up. He drove to the office in Woodstock where he waited an hour before he was helped. Thanks Alicia for making empty promises more than 24hours and we still have no internet!!! I think it’s time to get a different service provider maybe even pay more as long as the service doesn’t suck like yours!!!! Really disappointed and annoyed- my husband will have to take a drive again on Monday that will be 7 days without any internet connection this time he won’t leave before we are reconnected or else you guys can give us a refund seeing that whatever we try seems like a waste of time with we Africa. I have no idea why people like Vumatel and Octotel would want to be associated with you. Thank for the extremely bad service but I suppose one could not expect anything better according to the reviews it seems that it’s a general thing cause you don’t respond either!!!
What a Bad experience I had with these rude bunch of people all white Afrikaans uneducated females they even sound the same. I told them that they have bad reviews on hello peter she said they are not a service provider and they don’t care about the reviews it all people that don’t pay their accounts!! I laughed at her and she told me:” Laaste mag di lekkerste!” She told me they are allowed to speak or talk to me like they do meaning without tact and rude as usual. She said she doesn’t care about the law society and their rules. What a bunch of rude people and amazingly they get employment at the same company sure a requirement is must be untactful! You also can’t make a offyto pay it off because these accounting experts want to dictate to you what you can and can not afford. I am going to make a point of it to share this with as many People as I can!!!! Going to bring Schulenburg Attorneys down they don’t know my circumstances!!! I gave i medical aid and they did not pay and I was not notified but I suppose each and every company have a village idiot but schulenburg Attorneys only employee idiots!!!!!!
I received a call from Mrs ELOff who assumes the title of a debt collector. The account is more than 7 years old?. This woman is beyond rude and has no tact she should not be allowed to talk or deal with any human being. She is totally insulting and want to dictate to me what I can and cannot afford. I phoned back and tried to speak to her Supervisor but she was on lunch at 4 pm in the afternoon. There is so may and reviews about Schulenburgh Attorneys and why am I not surprised? I mean just look at their employees so unprofessional!!!! I to my surprise they are associated with the firm that was mention on Carte Blanche some time ago regarding illegal garnished orders and they lost the case!!! I think it’s time someone took them to courts about harassment at your work place!! !!! I am tired of rude people and wanna be debt collectors like Mrs Eloff
<p>I received a DR's account - paid R160.00 yes believe it or not my medical aid dit not pay it so I DID pay it. I had a lot of missed calls from ********** 777 which I'm not familiar with and they NEVER left a message to call bac**** I eventually received a SMS from DU PLessis & partners saying that I owe then R337.27 I immediately phoned spoke to a girl can't remember her name ,emailed her the POP. That Fri at 16:05pm that I owe DPP money cud not get hold of anyone. Phoned Monday spoke to Sonia Steyb emailed ********** the pop and Emailed ********** never ever received any reply only to received yet another SMS-to says default has been listed against my name- DPP attorneys communication system suck big time and I'm not gonna leave this matter unsettled! Du Plessis & partners you guys suck big time and I will tell the whole world about your absolutely pathetic service!!!!!!!was reading Thuluf's review similar story to mine so it's seems that that's a norm that you just don't care!
<p>I am totally stunned by the treatment received from this company! I am not sure where they find their employees?? Samantha Kotze act like is a Laywer or shall I say Judge of the High Court. Since when does a company decided what your affordability is? Not only does she emails and threaten us daily her emails and SMS messages are intimidating. They are not negotiable at all. All I know the staff don't last long at collect-4-u and the ones that stay does not have any customer care knowledge or experience . Asking around it seems that that is a norm for this company! Can't complain about customer care cause they don't care! But then again maybe debt collecting is the only job Samantha Kotze can do!</p>
