This is one company that racially discriminates when contacting clients on overdue accounts. The lady doing calls is so rude and insulting and when I stood my ground demanding that she talk to me with respect, she immediately send me a text saying I've been listed. 1st time she calls no arrangements... Nothing. Not the kind of people to can do business with.

Last year, my daughter went to Intercare, a service provider that all six of our family members regularly visit, as we have a family doctor there. Her medical aid somehow didn’t pay for the service, and because she is on a different medical aid plan from ours, my husband didn’t receive this information. A similar incident has happened before, and in previous years, Schulenburg Attorneys immediately called me, and we were able to rectify the problem. I need to emphasize that they called me. Last week, my daughter’s father received an SMS from Schulenburg Attorneys stating that they were instituting legal actions. He later gave them my number to call me, as I am the one living with our daughter. During a phone call with one of the representatives, who was very rude, I simply asked why I was never called about this account from last year, as they had done before in similar situations. She rudely informed me that since he is the account payer, communication had been sent to him. I responded, explaining that I was not happy about this because both the facility and Schulenburg Attorneys have my contact details, and this issue could have been rectified immediately. There is a reason both our details are on her file. She rudely asked when I would make payment, and when I tried to explain that it was the middle of the month and I had just been informed of this account, and that I would only be able to pay at the end of the month, she again rudely said this was not acceptable as the account is long overdue. We later received an SMS that we have been listed with the credit bureau as bad payers and that they would attach his assets. Now, I am not sure how the law works or even what constitutes proper customer service, but I am very dissatisfied with how this situation has been handled by this representative. Proper customer service involves clear, respectful, and timely communication, especially in matters as sensitive as financial disputes. Customers should be informed of outstanding issues promptly and given reasonable time to address them. Additionally, all available contact information should be utilized to ensure that communication reaches the appropriate person who can address the issue. Regarding the legal aspect, as per consumer protection laws, clients should be properly notified and given a fair opportunity to resolve any disputes before legal action is taken. In this case, it appears that proper procedures were not followed.

Good Day Trust you are well. I got an email from the Attorney firm on the 04th of April advising of an outstanding payment that was sent to them by a private hospital. I was on leave and returned yesterday. I then emailed the firm advising that I don't have the funds and this morning they tried to call me but I was unavailable but before I could call them back I got an email advising that they have listed me as a bad payer. Take in in mind that the email of the 04th said I have 7 days to respond of which I only got the mail on the 08th and yet I responded to them advising of a payment arrangement. I then called the firm back after attending to my work and the lady advised that she responded to my email advising there is no payment arrangement of which I never received and what's worst is that she is so rude speaking over me and not listening to me. I've got an excellent credit score and now some firm feels they can just go and list me without proper communication. What's worst is that they claim to have sent me an email. Some people think we don't know our rights as individuals. If you own any company money you have the right to make payment arrangements. Tell me in this economy who can just pop out money that you did not budget for. This is unacceptable and I'm not impressed with this firm at all.

Good day, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the service provided by one of your staff members, Mrs. Botha. My recent interaction with Mrs. Botha left much to be desired, as I experienced what I can only describe as rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional behavior. On calling to query a certain account, it was made known that there was a discrepancy or lack of communication between Schulenburg Attorneys and Torga Optical. During a phone call to inquire about a particular account, it became apparent that there was a discrepancy or misunderstanding between Schulenburg Attorneys and Torga Optical. Torga Optical confirmed that the outstanding payment was less than what Schulenburg Attorneys claimed, and they also clarified that they are not affiliated with Schulenburg Attorneys in any way. Despite my attempts to explain the situation, Mrs. Botha repeatedly interrupted me and failed to allow me to express my concerns fully. Even after politely requesting her to allow me to speak, she continued to talk over me and engaged in conversations with her colleagues in the background, which I could clearly hear. Furthermore, Mrs. Botha threatened to proceed with legal action without adequately addressing the issue at hand and abruptly ended the call. This level of customer service is unacceptable, particularly considering that I work in a customer service-oriented industry myself. It is clear that there was a breakdown in communication between Schulenburg Attorneys and Torga Optical, and it is imperative that this matter be resolved promptly and professionally. I want to reiterate that Torga Optical has confirmed that they are not associated with Schulenburg Attorneys and that any outstanding payments have been settled. However, if this issue persists or is not addressed satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to the relevant authorities, including the Ombudsman.

My account settled in full to Intercare Parklands CPT the amount of 501.00 dated 3/10/23. Intercare did not followup and inform Schulenberg the bill was settled and now charged attorney fees for an issue that was not of my doing. I had informed Elana @ Intercare Parklands I was a Sassa pensioner and would remit the last amount of 501.00 on receipt of the Sassa October grant. The amount was eft of immediate payment and reflects on my bank statement. Subsequently I contacted Mrs Botha at Schlenberg to inform her of the settlement. told to send proof of payment to admin@schulenberg.cc This done the email was returned as "no such address" By the way, accounts @Parlkands told me she would make a note on her database to the last pending payment....Obviosly she did not. Poor admin service all round.

After a well known medical practice had a wrong email address and contact number for my online doctors visit, they kept on apparently sending notifications of payment to the incorrect details no postal mail was received in the post as they did have the correct physical address. The account was then handed over to these attorneys for collection. Payment by myself to these attorneys was made possible by me begging for money on the street (only R490) on which I then received another email stating the a summons will be issued for a total of R991 which includes the previously paid doctors visit of R501. I then called the lady and she stated sarcastically that it was a typing error on her side. She then called me sarcastic, and basically telling me I’m a **** for telling her I’m homeless and jobless (which is true) I lost my job in April 2023 and am homeless as of June 2023. This lady is not at all accommodating to poor people’s life and living situations. She then told me I made payment through the banking app, which I did. Because the money that I collected over the weekend begging, I went to my bank to deposit it into my account because on their statement it says “they prefer EFT deposits”. The rudeness I experienced this morning via a telephone call I made to this lady was not expected. All I asked is for her to correct the incorrect amount given on the email and then she starts calling me names and not giving me a chance to speak. I then put the phone down as I cannot take any more connect of negativity for something I tried my best to pay for unlike others who just run away from paying account totally.

I had no knowledge of my account being handed over to these attorneys and instead of having a conversation, they sent SMSes to make payment of R446. An amount I did not recognize. And so it looked untrusted and a **** so I queried it, multiple times, but no response for days. They finally called me and without explaining to me or hearing my questions, kept telling me they would have to sue and blacklist me. I tried my best to explain that I don't understand it and I just want to understand it, maybe see a statement since they were threatening me just as ****mers would do, demanding money without explaining. It turned out to be an Intercare account from DR FRYE AND ASSOCIATES INC, which I queried with them as well, many months ago, without reply as I thought there was a mistake on it, since my medical aid told me it was an incorrect code and I shouldn't be liable. It was such a small amount (R200 or something) that I would've gladly paid, I just wanted to understand and query it, but no-one ever got back to me, hence I thought they corrected it with the medical aid. I tried talking with the lady from Schulenburg but she kept interrupting me, not letting me talk and kept repeating the same line over and over again, that they'll have to sue and it would cost double if they do, and then blacklist me. This is not how you treat people. I see reviews everywhere, for many years of people saying this exact same thing. I don't know how they could treat people this way, I also don't understand how companies still use lawyers like this, to threaten people in such an inhumane way.
