Please do yourself a favour and look somewhere else to have your appliances serviced. My recent interaction with them was a nightmare. No feedback (wasted a whole day waiting for them and they don't even have the decency to let me know that they won't be able to deliver), not delivering when promised, overcharging (R2100 to replace a washing machine's drain pump and clean the machine), charging to put the faults they find in writing (even though they already send it to me on Whatsapp and even though I already paid a call out fee of R350. Makes me doubt their integrity). The whole experience just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Never again.
Laid a complaint against Makro with the Consumer Ombudsman Reference Id-J9EMPXPD because they didn't pay refund for items that were out of stock. If you have similar issues just log a complaint at http://www.cgso.org.za/cgso/
Waiting 2 weeks for a refund. They contacted me on Friday 19 May to ask for my info (second time, first time was 9 May) even after I tried to explain to them the the credit was already approved, I'm just waiting for payment. Send it to some person named Mpho Moruthane. I also asked them to give me a call, still no response. Do not do business with this useless company.
Waiting 10 days for a refund. Support desk is useless, drops the phone in my ears after waiting 10-15 minutes (twice!!!!!). Nobody gets back to me.
Their after sales service is awesome. They phone you to check if the unit is still working as expected.
I've tried to log a support call since 23 Apr. The only way to contact them is through their Whatsapp support chat. Nobody gets back to you. The bot just apologises every half an hour for nobody getting back to you ( I have a couple of those messages!!!). Waited 2 hours yesterday and another 2 so far today. There is no other way to log a fault. Tried their Facebook page. They still apologise for people not answering because it is long weekend (which was last weekend). There is no online form to log an issue. There is no phone support (due to COVID, really? Still? Funny how other companies don't have this issue), can't find an email address to log the fault. This is utterly kak service. This is not the first time either. Last week my service was off for more than a day as well due to a Vumatel issue, and their "support" person couldn't give any update on the progress of the issue more than 2 hours old. When you ask to speak with someone that has authority to contact Vumatel and actually give proper feedback, they just ignore you. It really is an mission impossible to get a fault logged and get any useful feedback from this useless company. Please look elsewhere when you are looking for new ISP.
It is impossible to get any service from these guys outside normal working hours. My internet has been dead for more than 24 hours now. The Whatsapp agent just make excuses and is not giving any real feedback of the progress of the issue. Management don't phone back. When asked if they will charge me for the time off I was told yes. I should speak to a accounts about a refund. You are costing me money!!! Useless!!!!
What a useless company!!!!! My car was send there by the insurance company. And from the start I told them I needed my vehicle the foloow week to go and fetch stuff somewhere. I was promised my car would be ready in a weeks' time. A day before I was supposed to get my car back they said they will not be finished on time. I had to rent a vehicle to get my business done because they couldn't make a plan. Promises to phone me back was not kept, they kept on laying when they started on my vehicle. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
I had an accident and I was send to a panel beater about 5 Km from my house for assessment. When the time came to book my vehicle in they had assigned a company in Sandton, Proline (RenewIt group, about 40kms away) to fix it. I told them that I needed my vehicle the following Friday afternoon. They promised me that it would be done by then, Needless to say it was not done on time and they wouldn't help me with a replacement vehicle (bakkie or similar with tow bar) I needed. My question is why didn't Momentum just assign to panel beater closest to my house and why use Proline? Look at all the bad reviews here on Hello Peter for Proline
This was a scam. Site is now dead. If you were caught by this scam please contact AO Manaha (SAPS) 078 810 6776 and quote fraud case number 135/8/2021 opened at Roodepoort SAPS. He will take your statement. Maybe we can bring these guys to justice and get our money back.
