Very bad after sales service. Bought a WOLL pan. Within 6 months the non-stick coating started to come off. After months of communication eventually they replaced it. Within another few month the replacement coating also started to come off. I started to try and communicate, sent emails, WhatsApp and website "contact us". no reply.
Bad customer service. I paid fully and 12 days later still no part. Communication is poor. Worried about my money, will ask for a refund. Hope they are not ****mers.
I tried to use the Takealot website to reach customer service and to talk to a real person but it seems like an impossible task. I have two complaints which is still not resolved. 1. I bought and paid x2 JBL speakers on the 25th September already and still at 2 October it has not been shipped yet. 2. I bought x2 Canon Printers, within 3 months the one had an error. I sent it to the Takealot repairer called "Part Serv" and they just sent me an quote for repairs, when I contacted them and asked what about the warrantee they were rude, said they will get back to me and never did. We contacted then more than 3 times since and have to speak to other people every time. They then again sent me another quote but no explanation on how a 3 month old printer is not under warranty.
I ordered a scanner, it was never delivered. I enquired and they said they couldn't fid the product on their floor. I requested a refund and they do not reply at all. So now, no product and no money.
Carsmagnet.fr is an online store but they do not deliver. It might be a front company to only take your money. We purchased car magnets in December 2021 and have received nothing. When we contacted them they said it has been delivered but they cannot provide a tracking number. I had to write a letter stating that I didn't receive the goods and then they would have sorted it out in 10 days. More than a month have passed and still nothing. Be aware of this company.
Phogole contacted us for a quote to replace his windscreen on a Nissan Almera. We replaced the windscreen and he never paid us. Since 26 Aug 2019 an amount of R1750 is still outstanding. After numerious calls, emails and WhatsApp's he still doesn't pay. Reasons according to him is that he will ask his wife, that he will check the bank, that he will pay today, etc. I think he scammmed us into doing a job free of charge. The only contact details he gave is the following: phogole@madikoeafrica.co.za 0724541346

I have an fnb cheque account. In Dec last year I was contacted by an FNB credit card call centre asking if I wanted a credit card? They offered me a special interest rate for a number of months if I close my ABSA credit card. I applied, was approved and received my card. No special interest rate no nothing. It has been months now, a lot of calls and messages and nobody seems to be able to sort it out. Now the call recording is lost. Eventually they offered me another rate which I accepted just to get to some conclusion. When i was transferred to the credit card department the rates differed again. It is hopeless.

I have a "private banker" called Paballo but still no success. Was this false marketing to get me to sign up for a credit card?

We supplied services to Saxum insurance on the 23 Feb 2016 and after numerious phone calls and emails to them they still manage to think out a new excuse and have failed to pay the invoice GD14000. We have spoken to Lu-Anne, Elliot, Birnam, Thabogelo, Charlene and Sade. We leave messages asking for call-backs but to no avail. We contacted their client Lauren, which is the owner of the vehicle, and even their own client has no influence on them getting the invoice paid. The windscreen was changed on time and in good service to their client but now we have to waste our resources to collect the outstanding monies. I wonder what will the situation be like when their client has a real car accident claim? Will it be dealt with in the same manner? We have phoned head office 011 694 5900 to escalate the matter but they refer us back to the specific office with the number 086 999 0806.
