Due to failure to reset my password I was forced to open with a different number. I've tried to reset my password, spent 30min on the call which they could not assist me with. Stay away from this company
Purchased a new vehicle in July 2025, called cartrack to ask if they can put the unit into the new one. Due R9 outstanding they refused to assist me!!! This leading to cancelation via call, whatsapp and email (fyi i was on a month to month contract). After numerous email communication that the unit is canceled they tried to be debit my acc. Which failed. Now they send me letters of blacklist and i must pay r1800 to remove itc from my name and outstanding amounts. I am so fed up with this ppl as this is is ******* and i see that they are already in trouble for similar issues. This muat be rectified as i do have all email and WhatsApp msgs that can confirm this
In 2024 we app**** for appliance benefit after months of struggle they eventually paid to member however the bank details on system was of my deceased grandfather (closed in 2017). I informed the scheme and they asked for a letter from bank indicating closure, i did send it through to them. After 1 year and constant follow ups still no answers. Palesa from Universal administration keeps sending me emails stating that she is escalated the matter to the scheme but still no answers. This is disgusting considering she has been member since 90's.
I would like to write a review about Cartrack From all the months of struggle with an account (+-2yrs) spoke to Sipho Gwabeni today and he really tried to assist me with best ways moving forward. If only all of the employees can have his attitude, calm presentation when speaking to someone highly upset. I commend him for that. Truly an asset to Cartrack
I had a gap cover with old mutual, in 2020 i tried to claim a shortfall which was rejected. I told the consultant that I am canceling the policy because they dont cover the short falls as they advertised. Since August 2020 everytime every year they keep deducting my account. This after numerous emails to them to stop. I am goimg to report them to the ombudsman because they are doing *****ulent debit orders. Unfortunately the bank cannot stop the debit order as i did try
Ive been with cartrack since may 2019 with no issues, premiuma paid monthly no arrears. On 15.12.2022 i accidentally made an error payment to them. Called cartrack immediately and they advised that they can do a refund once payment reflects. 19.12.2022 i emailed them my bank confirmation letter and a POP (as they advised payment still didn't reflect). Today being 05.01.2023 NO REFUND OR COMMUNICATION from them. I have called numerous times and the consultants i speak to will send Ayanda and Lerato emails to call me back as they cannot transfer my calls directly to them. NO calls, no refund If this is the level of care I receive for R1640 I pray to God that they dont steal my car. Absolutely pathetic, this was an error payment and i am expecting my refund by 06.01.2023 or i would need to seek legal advise!!
They use to be good when i started with them but lately they offer the worst service EVER!!! 09.12 +10.12.2022 by far the ****ist service, no internet from 6pm. Before it was slow internet from the 24th of each month now its consecutive days from about the same time there's no internet. Router was rebooted with the same problem!!!
I last belonged to Old mutual gap cover 2021. I had cancelled my policy due to the fact that i submitted two separate claims to them which they declined. I stopped paying my premium, since September 2021 it was good as i had no more dealings with them. Today i see a debit order they tried taking out of my acc, this is unlawful as I did not consent for them to do so(theft and fraud).. I will be reporting them to the ombudsman as well as they had no right to do what they did
On 20.01.2022 I emailed a LOM to compcare regarding funding of adult nappies. On 21.01.2022 i received an email from the medical aid stating that the letter was sent to their chronic division for review. On 28.01.2022 i called them to query the status of the letter. The consultant I spoke to then said no letter was received, I provided the email reference and she managed to trace the letter. Until Today (10.02.2022) i have not received any feedback as promised by the consultant nor an email. We kindly requested funding with her adult nappies for numerous reason. 1) suffers with dementia(forgets to go to the bathroom 2) urinary incontinence 3) on diuretics for water retention after a femur operation in 2021 and mainly because she is a pensioner earning minimum funds. But no response received!!!??

My nephew who is on my medical aid and gap cover was admitted to hospital and two accounts was short paid. I submitted all the documents (claim form/ statement and bills to prove short payment). This was submitted on 09.09.2021(1st submission) got an automated response stating that a consultant will be in contact with me in two business days, NEVER HAPPENED!!! 2ND submission was done on 15.09.2021 same story, email received but No phone call or email. Im quite disgusted with them as i pay my premium every month on time. If i dont get feedback i am reporting them to ombudsman and canceling my policy.
