This shop acts very fishy!!! - My dad bought some solar panels from them - very helpful in answering questions etc. until he payed them. Then no correspondence anymore. You can't call them or anything. Also did not deliver on the promised date - still waiting for the product. We checked out there location - it is a fake address in Bloemfontein - Langenhoven park - owed by a different business that actually complains about SolarCube using their address. So decide for yourself if you have money to throw away at these guys - their solar panels promised some specs which sound a bit too good to be true - so beware they seems to lure one in that way.
So I had a straight forward claim - 2 actually. One had all the codes necessary for the claim and one had the Hospital proof of payment only ... 1. They waited 1 whole week just to tell me they need the codes from the invoice - so which invoice from which claim - both? And I would expect them to at least pay the one that had all the codes. 2. Ok ... got the invoice from hospital for second one ... send the claim through again - got the response back later ... only to find that now they paid the health care provider ... it was a co-payment - I had to pay out of my pocket. And on top of that they paid it not from my gap cover but medical savings account. So I wonder why they insisted on this invoice - for what? Because they did not read it seems like anyway. They would have seen it is a co-payment for which I already paid. So now I am still waiting for my money and wonder what the next thing is they going todo to stall my repayment. Decided to start looking for other good medical aids - which surprisingly do exist and it does not entail all this award rubbish that almost no one gets because not all of us have the time for it - and you always must activate a sneaky 1000 things before you actually get the benefit.
I bought a set of speakers from them. And when I was looking for bags for the speakers, they told me they can provide custom made bags for the speakers. The speakers they delivered on, that's why I give them 2 stars at least. But I had to pay upfront for the speaker bags and it is now about 9 weeks and no bags. When trying to talk to the guy that sold me the bags he is always busy with clients and then never calls me back. So I asked my money back. No responses yet. So basically it seems that this guy stole about R2000 worth of bags from me. I really hope it was worth it giving himself now the title of a common thief ... for R2000. So make up for yourself if you want to trust this shop ...

Ok ... how does one keep this short and to the point. Last year I subscribed to a Telkom router. They come past your work place ... get you signed up ... and then never deliver the goods. Start billing you ... take from January to October last year to get the contract ceased, not cancelled, as in my opinion there is no contract to cancel just ceased if you did not receive the goods. But never the less it was resolved October last year ... then suddenly come this year, unexpectedly they start subtracting debit order from my account ... R800 in April. I let the bank reverse it ... so May comes and no deduction ... ok so we are sorted ... Only to find they deduct it again in June. So, I have so many questions about this starting with the bank (which part of what we are paying them for is to keep our money safe??) just says they have the right reference numbers (by the way ... even if the contract was still active, R800 does not make sense at all – so no “right reference numbers – bull****” ). So, if I step into a bank and tell them here is my reference numbers I can withdraw money from any account if my reference numbers are provided – they don’t need to be correct though – just provided. But anyway, my bank is helping me as far as possible for now and my issue here is with Telkom. So, I can only in conclusion ask myself ... has Telkom now also decided to go the fraudulent way?

I must tell this story also … when talking to the bank over the phone I overheard another customer care person talk about Telkom and reversing a debit order not lawfully deducted. So, I am really worried about Telkom these days …

(Did I try to take it up with them directly ... YES, but the problem is you send a query to them and it just goes into oblivion – File 13 )

I had an issue with Telkom that sold me a LTE router and then they never delivered the router but still charged me monthly. After six months of trying to get it through to them that I don't have the router yet I decided to make use of my legalwise team I so happily every month pay my premium to. Long story short, after 3 attempts to make contact with them (one email, and then twice filled in the form online which guarantees a response within 48 hours) ... no response.

In the meanwhile, sorted out my issue with Telkom and they even paid me back the money they took as I had them cancelled my contract.

So, I decided to cancel my subscription with legalwise ... went through all the pain of calling them ... ask what I need to do to cancel, send them an email, explain briefly why I quit, in a civilized way. And they just go ahead and cancelled my subscription and did not even once said sorry or how can we make it right … basically try to keep me as client. It seems like they are just interested in one’s money.

Just an honest heads up from my experience.

Hi there

People from Telkom ( or affiliates ... to me it is Telkom even so ) came by our offices in January I believe and sold me a LTE Telkom router contract.

They promised me:

1. Delivery of the router

2. The copy of the contract.

But I received no phone call with regards to this. I actually started to think they tossed my contract or something when suddenly in March Telkom started to billed me twice for the contract. I still had not received the router or heard from anyone at Telkom etc. at that stage.

After a while I emailed the person who sold me the contract to me and I was promised again it will be sorted out. But just this big ... empty ... void happened.

Now we are in August. They have billed me every month up to July. I went to a Telkom shop only to have them send an email to that bigger empty VOID of customer services. The same day the email was send, the sales lady contacted me but only because she was included in the email. She said it will be sorted out ... but again ... big empty ... void happened. Not to mention that Telkom customer services have not event responded on the email the guy in the shop send them. Just a big ... empty ... void. I am trying to cancel this contract now as I do not see any pleasure with a big ... empty ... void ...

So just be warned ... DON'T EVER buy something from these people that goes from company to company claiming they make your life easier and that you actually buy a special. It is complete BS

I have an overdraft facility of about R28000 with Nedbank. 3 debit orders going off every month. I also often borough from this account and pay it back in reasonable amount of time ( 2 to 3 months) often. So this account was getting used and in good standing.
Last two or so months of last year I realized that my debit orders going of from my cheque account gets returned and I get charged penalty fees for it. I took the time and went into the bank only to find that I have a personal banker and only they can help me. I contact them and this person was on leave already. So I got assigned another temp one who should have sorted this out. Nothing ... then I called again and another personal banker helped me. He at least re-instated my overdraft. But until now they still have not reversed all my penalty fees or gave me a reason as to why my overdraft was stopped. So to me this looks like a lekke way to make money from clients. Give them overdraft and then suddenly stop it ... then penalties occur and then when one tries to reclaim that money they just ignore you. So much for having a personal banker. I would probably be better off without one and had it sorted out in bank
