I am currently abroad and wanted to buy a flat in South Africa. It seemed like an impossible task to get a bond approved. That is until I came across Suretha who is a relationship banker at Nedbank. Wow. What a difference one competent, helpful and friendly person can make. She helped me throughout the process. She was efficient. I have nothing but praise for her. Give that women a Bells.
After months of emails and complaints, even escalating the matter to the Ombud FNB still could not give feedback with regards to a seemingly simple matter. There was fraudulent activities with regards to my creditcard and also two unauthorised debit orders from my account in May 2019. 7 months later and still no one could explain to me what happened. I pay bank fees every month (and definitely not the cheapest fees that are offered by banks) yet they cannot provide a simple service. I do not know where to go with this anymore. I would not recommend this bank to anyone. They are fraudulent and useless.
Lodged a possible fraudulent debit order in my acc. Struggled forever to have it investigated. Only after a hellopeter complaint did FNB contact me and sent me forms to fill in. Its been 4months and still have not had any feedback. During the same time my creditcard was cancelled telephonically. I knew that it wasnt me so I requested the call logs to be sent to me. Been 6months and still no response. I contacted premier banking, fnb chat and nothing is being done. No feedback given.
I have been struggeling with suspected fraud on my account for over a month now. I contacted FNB via the secure chat - no one there is able to help me they keep on telling me that they cannot do anything for me and I have to phone in. I phoned the fraud department and was promised by Nathan that the matter will be escalated and I will receive a response within 24 hours. Its been over a week and nothing happened. I emailed the premier banking suite and the person keep on telling me to resolve the matter via the secure chat. I keep on going in circles without any success. Fnb does not care about fraud on an account - as long as they get their fee every month. They are not able to send me any proof of the so called voice logs to cancel my creditcard ( i know it does not exist as I am in the UK and I dont phone in). Further more a unaithorised debit order is going of my acc which is costing me money every month to reverse, and the only thing I get from FNB to resolve this is a number that does not exist. I keep on telling the agent that this is fraud and the company does not exist and guess what the agent tells me? Sorry cant do anything for you, pay the R20 and we will reverse it. Seems like FNB does not care about a client with a premier acc and who has been with them for over 8 years.
<p>I bought a bakkie from InspectaCar, which is proudly backed by Wesbank. The bakkie was full of faults. I reported this to the sales consultant and he did not answer me back. I also inquired about the R2000 refundable holding deposit that was not refunded to me. The consultant did not answer any of my messages and I emailed the dealership. The next day I used the bakkie it started overheating. I informed the consultant and he advised me that it is normal for a bakkie. I drove further and saw that the temperature was definitely not normal. I had to wait next to the road for the bakkie to cool off - no assistance was offered to me by the consultant.</p> <p>The next day I phoned the dealership to inform them about everything on the bakkie and that they should rather take it back and return my car. They informed me that they cannot do it since my car is already sold. I asked them to take the bakkie and provide me with alternative transport until they find me a better bakkie. On the Friday they came to fetch the bakkie to have it "fixed" and brought me alternative transport - my volvo that was supposedly sold.... I found out by chance that it was sold to their own employee. I informed them that I do not want the bakkie to be fixed as it is clear that it was not "pre-loved" and I would rather them take it back or replace it.</p> <p>It is 3 weeks already and I am not getting any feedback from the dealership or from InspectaCar themselves or from Wesbank. </p>

<p>I have just been to KFC Hercules. It has been probably 5months after my last visit there since they are so pathetic. I have complained numerous times about this utterly useless outlet. Now I ordered 2 oreo crushers. Just to be told than they have no crushers. The last time I was there at 23h00 and when I ordered a bucket I was told they have no chicken. This is the worst fast food outlet ever!!!!</p>
<p>I bought a ZX10 from Jantjies in February. In April the bike broke down. The crank was completely shot. The mechanic informed me it was due to the bike not being serviced porperly. Total cost was R17800 to fix the bike. I approached Janties to ask whether or not hey could somehow compensate me and he refused. Saying if he had to do this his shop will be closed by now. I also paid R4500 for licence and registration but I never received the disc. JAnthies informed me that I need to take the disc out myself. Saying something about the bikes they sell then. I paid the costs and I lost the money. just informing others so that you don't fall into the same trap.</p>
Nedbank tool a payment from my account and it was not supposed to. I phoned in and the agent said it will be reversed. Saturday no money was reversed and when I phoned to check the agent told me that it was never lodged. The agent couldn't help me and referred me to her team leader. The team leader just kept quiet om the other side offering no help. Today the money was reversed. Just a few hours after the reversal I receive a message to say that my account is in arrears. I phone again in an attempt to sort it out. The agent is rude, speak over me and then start screaming at me. I phobe again and ask to speak to a tean leader in order for me to lay a complaint and the agent puts me in hold. Hours of frustration and not R2 on airtime and Nedbanks incompetent staff can still not help me properly.
