Took my car to Brooklyn branch for service, no hassles. Took it back a week later for additional work and there it went wrong. On quoted 8 hour job, they had my car from Thursday morning to Tuesday morning. On Monday i called at 11:00 to follow up and let know i need my car by 4. Riaan told me no problem. I followed up at 14:00 and again told Riaan i need my car by 4, to which he said it would be done before then as it is on it's way to be washed. Then when i showed up at 4 after not hearing from them again, my car wasn't washed and hadn't gone for a test drive yet. When asked why i wasn't called, Riaan said he was out and his assistant was too busy with their boss to call. I missed a massively important interview thanks to his lies and lack of a spine. This is pathetic, you guys will not see me again.
These people keep phoning me on the number i have owned for 20 years now, asking for someone i have never heard of. I have asked that they correct this, but i just keep getting the same calls. Not even ****mers harass me this much! I have no blocked MBD on TrueCaller and on Google as well as left reviews and comments on TrueCaller, Google and HelloPeter. This is sickening and absolutely pathetic.
I went into the branch to discuss the interest rate on my credit card yesterday. Since then, ABSA Credit division has for some reason been harassing my mother (my next of kin contact). She has provided my contact number numerous times yet they keep calling her and i am yet to get a call. I called ABSA Credit division who firstly verified my contact number on the system is correct, and secondly, that there is no case on my name for anyone to call me. Clearly not going to come right with them, so called the consultant at the branch that i spoke with. She managed to identify, that for what ever reason, some attentive employee listed my mother's contact number as my OPTIONAL employers contact number. I need to know how to stop this, I've advised my mother block them on her phone this however does NOT resolve the issue. Beyond ridiculous and destroyed the last bit of faith i had left in ABSA as a financial provider. Is anyone else experiencing this degree of BS when dealing with this provider?
I signed up with them in November of 2020. For a year i received no invoices or any communications regarding payment. Then i received a statement for the outstanding amount nearly a year later. I paid the statement in full, then shortly after received another statement for an outstanding amount. I can't reach them on ANY numbers listed, i get no response from the lady who supposedly deals with this. Do they remove the garden refuse? Yes, but for the admin nightmares it comes with, these guys are NOT worth supporting. I have yet to receive a phone call or response to my emails after trying to contact them for weeks. This is worse than pathetic.
So disappointed with Rain. Signed up for LTE on Monday, got the router on Tuesday morning, it is now Thursday, I am still not connected. The call center agents are rude and incompetent, management cannot be reached and all the every one keeps saying g is that they will escalate the matter. I agreed to terms stating activation within 2 to 24 hours, it's now 4 days later. Anyone looking into Rain, save yourself the stress and headaches and go somewhere else.
I have been trying to cancel my 2 contracts with Vodacom for 3 weeks, starting 18 February 2021. To date, 10 March 2021, i have called the cancellations department every day to resolve this matter. Every time i speak to someone else who says they will cancel. Next person says they will escalate the matter, and get the previous person to call me back before end of the day. I am yet to receive a call back, my contracts are yet to be cancelled and i have yet to receive a written confirmation of any of this. And while all of this is going on, Vodacom is happily billing, and will in all likelihood stuff up my credit rating and take legal action should i forcefully stop the debit orders. Fortunately consumers have rights and defenders in the public and private sector who love fights like these with corporate ***holes like Vodacom. Sorry for the operators involved, you will now be taking the heat for your corporate overlords. This is pathetic and disgusting.
