Their Roadside Assist is fantastic!!! Had a puncture which couldn't be changed due to lack of alan key in my toolkit (of which I was unaware). Within 45 minutes got a flatbed tow truck who treated my car with care and got ne safely to a tyre place which, unfortunately, has turned out to be a disaster (see my Point S review)
Very bad experience yesterday and today. Went in with a puncture and ended up with a bill of R9860 for 4 new tyres and repairs to suspension. Fetch car today, broke down with no power on acceleration and a very flat battery (couldn't close my electric windows). They had to come and rescue me and took car back to their workshop. Also said I now need bearings replaced on 2 right side wheels! I'm a 62 year old pensioner amd could have broken down anywhere... all this after a test drive by an employee! My car was perfectly drivable - NO issues- just a puncture!! Had to pay R10K for this service!!
I have been trying to delink my Vodacom mobile router from another profile for months now and have, totally, been given the run around! Without the delinking I cannot top up the data unless I go into a Vodacom shop, buy the data and let the assistant do the top up!!! It's flippin inconvenient to say the least!! Vodacom I'm so unimpressed! To add insult to injury, if I don't use the data that I PAID FOR, within 30 days, you just take it away! This is just not right! I'm a very dissatisfied customer! Get your act together and start treating your loyal customers with respect!
I've had an account at Edgars since 1980. In the last +-4 months I've had endless hassles with the payment of my account every month as they told me they would activate a debit order. Yesterday I'm told by RCS that "they don't do debit orders any more, I have to manually pay each month". I have been hounded every day with sms's and phone calls saying my account is "in arrears" DESPITE numerous eft's and emails back and forth. They STILL have my old ID number of which the last 2 digits changed in +-1994. They refuse to accept proof of payment from my online banking app, it HAS TO be from the bank itself! I mean what the heck!!?? TODAY I'm closing this account which I've had for 44 years!! DON'T ever open an account with Edgar's!!!!!! I hope I can successfully cancel all the associated policies and club membership without hassles because I've heard that other clients have struggled!! I also hope that they don't affect my good credit rating!!!!!!
Sub standard on line shopping service which, despite numerous complaints about the quality of perishables, missing items and how the online shopping platform is structured to provide a pleasant and effective shopping experience, nothing seems to be transpiring timeously, if at all!
Pick n Pay ASAP has disappointed me more than once! They're often out of stock and one isn't given enough time to select a replacement! The replacements are often out of stock as well. I received squashed bread and wasn't refunded. This week I ordered one packet of boerewors but they decided to send me 2 and charge me for both (although my order only reflects one packet ordered). Their drivers arrive with the grocery bags almost falling out of the pannier on the motorcycle. Previously the designated driver stopped just before my house (I was waiting for him by my front gate) and urinated on the side of the road before delivering my groceries (and I doubt he washed his hands). I'm reconsidering going back to Checkers 60 (although I had issues with them sending me expired and rotten food - which is why I went to Pick n Pay). Last resort, I have to brave crowds and Covid and go and shop myself again!
Steers are amazing! They deliver our food within 15 minutes (on average) of ordering! Last night our food was fresh, perfectly prepared and always friendly and efficient service!
I used Scoot for the first time tonight because they had a special offer for McDonalds. Ordered at 19:00 and order just never came. I contacted them and they "tried to speed up the process". Then, without my requesting it, cancelled my order and said I would get a refund only in 3-5 working days!!!! I'm fuming and will never use not recommend Scoot again!!! I've ordered from good old reliable Steers and got my order in 15 minutes!

On 2nd October 2016 I approached cellucity Benmore to enquire about an upgrade on my contract. I was shown their brochure advertising the Huawei P9 Lite on contract for R249 a month: 500mb data and R125 airtime a month. This would cost me less than my existing contract and I was getting double the data and R50 more airtime. When I signed, the consultant said I would get 5Gb of airtime once off but assured me that I would still get my 500mb per month. I duly signed the contract. 2 weeks ago I picked up the September brochure and was horrified to see that the contract I had signed was NOT what I was told, that the 5gb was once off and I would now have to buy data every month!! I was mislead as I was shown the August brochure on the 2nd of September!!! I'm *****ed! What a revolting thing to do to a person. I don't know what I can do as I think Vodacom should be made aware of this!!! I'm still waiting for the manager of the store to phone me since Friday!!!
