OPT OUT!!! Dear Vodacom. I would like to opt out of ALL marketing and sales calls from you and any subsidiaries and any companies that get a commission from selling your products. The harassment from sales calls in the name of Vodacom is unreal. I get several calls per hour. I block the numbers, but they simply keep coming from other numbers. I don't want any calls I didn't ask for. I will renew my contract when I am good and ready. I would like confirmation that my number has been removed from any call lists on all systems and that any companies you may have shared my number with will be informed as well and that you will enforce it.
The web site automatically includes Sms Confirmation at R7.83 for each ticket booked. Somewhere they allow you to deselect, but it is easy to miss and so they sell overpriced sms notifications THAT NOBODY NEEDS, SINCE YOU GET WHATSAPP AND EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS FOR FREE. Sms's are free. This is a scheme that takes advantage of people and it is deliberately done in a way that is bot easy to spot. I want my money back! (PS - I have not received a single sms from them for my R7,83.)
Why am I not able to nominate an alternative beneficiary (in the event that my primary beneficiary dies simultaneously to me)? If my nominated beneficiary dies with me, the life insurance I have with Discovery goes into my estate. I do not want this! I am able to nominate an alternative beneficiary for the life insurance I have with a different company, so there is no legal issue preventing this. My beneficiary is my husband. We both do not work and travel extensively for long distances. It is probable that we could die together. I want to nominate a beneficiary that would inherit my life insurance in an event like this. How hard can this be?
I have had top quality Granny Goose linen for years now. I recently decided to replace with a new set. I am disappointed for the following reasons: - All items (fitted king sheet, king duvet cover, standard pillow cases and king pillow cases) are too big. The old items fitted by bed and pillows perfectly, but the new sheet doesn't fit nice and tight and the pillows are drowning. The duvet cover is also slightly too long. I have a Granny Goose duvet, so it really should fit. - the oxford border goes all the way around the duvet cover. There is no need for it to be at the top (pillow end). This was not the case in the older items. - the duvet cover opening at the bottom is very narrow. - these items seem to crease way more easily that the older stuff. I would not buy again.
For some reason certain bundles on the VodaPay app can only be purchased by credit card or VodaPay wallet. Others can be added to my bill. I used to be able to add all purchases to my bill on the old app. Vodacom cannot explain why they made this change and they supposedly also cannot log a request to have this rectified. I am simply told to "buy another bundle" or "speak to a consultant to process the purchase" (so I must make an 18 minute phone call every time I want to buy a data bundle?). It makes absolutely zero sense. Also, the only way to purchase with a credit card is to store your credit card details on the app. This is a security risk. So, I can no longer buy the bundles I want by adding the amount to my bill, which gets deducted from my bank via stop order. I also cannot do it by entering my cc details every time - it MUST be saved on the app. Is Vodacom trying to make dealing with them more difficult and risky?
I have ordered from them 3 times now. Every time I bought sunglasses at better prices than I could find anywhere else. The orders always arrive early and without any issues. I also receive communication from them every step of the way.
Discovery Bank is making me too angry to sign up. I logged in on the Discovery site and went to the Travel section. There is then a space to put your name and contact details, which I did, thinking it is to book travel. Once I have entered the details, I noticed the "Call me Back" button and realised they expect me to sign up to Banking. I did NOT click on the button, but minutes later received a call from Discovery Bank, stating that I requested a call back. I DID NOT CLICK ON THE BUTTON. DO NOT HARRAS PEOPLE!
I have ordered from GeeWiz twice now. The first time was about 7 years ago and again now. Both times I have been super impressed. I ordered from them when their prices were considerably better than their competitors. The communication is great and the delivery was done much faster than I usually experience with other online retailers. It's a pity they don't sell everything!
Again… Same story when I renewed my contact. Now my husband’s. We renewed his contract with an additional 6GB recurring data bundle at 50%. But, ONCE AGAIN, this only lasted for one month. Please reinstate the contract as agreed asap and provide the data agreed on at the agreed price.
Absa has increased my home loan fees by exactly 1200% from April to May 2023!!! I need answers about this. I reported the issue, and twice I got responses along the lines of “Absa sent out a letter informing you of the increase”. Simply informing me is not enough! This must surely be a mistake! I want answers as to how this increase can be ethically or legally justified! Can a senior person contact me with an explanation of how a company can increase fees by 1200% from one month to the next? Also, did ALL ABSA Home Loan clients get the same increase of 1200%???
