I have been paying my car through debt review since 2020. I have now been advised that the last time the debt review company paid the account was June last year. I am being told I must return the car without any legal process having been undertaken to bring the matter to my attention and afford me an opportunity to respond. This after paying off my car with the same bank just recently. And also vising their branch to obtain papers of my car without anyone informing me there is a court process being undertaken. One wonders how many people find themselves in this situation with their vehicles being repossesed so ************ly.
Bought a car from them in September. Car had numerous faults so I cancelled the deal. I have beem waiting for refund since then. Went through all the escalation channels but still not paid.
I am on a month-to-month contract with Telkom and owing R2000 from the time the contract was active I assume. The sim card is currently suspended which I also e. assume is because of the outstanding debt. Despite the sim card being suspended I am getting billed every month. I asked why this is the case and I was advised that this is how their system works. They are in fact billing me for a service they are not providing in other words. So if I am unable to make repayments above the month to month contract I will effectively be indebted to Telkom for the rest of my lif
I paid R5000 out of my Medical Savings for a procedure done in hospital. I have been asking how this happened without my consent or being informed. I sent in an enquiry and I was told to send all my information and it would be looked into. Up to today that is the only answer I get.
I have been trying to register my business through the FNB CIPC registrations process. I started this process last year. Since my first submission I didn't even get a simple acknowledgement of receipt from FNB. After a while I decided to enquire and I was told to resubmit my documents. Then it went quiet again. No acknowledgement.

I again made an enquiry and I was told one ID is not clear. I resubmitted this and again no acknowledgement. I again requested feedback and I was told my proof of address has expired. This time around I called and asked to be given feedback once I submit my documents. Again no feedback.

My business partner then received communication that FNB had opened an account for us and want us to despot funds into it. I then called FNB and asked for more information about the registration as this is what we had wanted more than the bank account.

Again no response. Today I received an email from CIPC requesting my ID copies. The email simply read \please send ID copies". No reference to any previous communication. No feedback from FNB that we have escalated the matter to CIPC. Safe to say this sent me over the edge!

"""
I have been trying to use the FNB CIPC registration process to register my business. This process started last year. All I have been getting is please send ID copies, please send proof of address because the last one expired. Eventually today I decided I had had enough of this and told them it is unacceptable.

What I then received is a call from a very rude and confrontational employee of CIPC called Khomotso. She was telling me I must sort my issues out with FNB because she doesn't work for FNB. Apparently this last request came directly from CIPC.

Since my only crime seems to be using the FNB service I think what she should have done is to find out from FNB where my documents are. Instead she thought it best to call me and be rude.

So much for the principles of Batho Pele. Some people forget they are working for government of the people.

I am utterly disgusted and disappointed. Especially because our government promotes the establishment of social enterprises that create jobs. And yet registering the business seems to be a mountain to climb.
At least for me.
I must take a moment and express my heartfelt gratitude at the service I received from Kazi at the Greenacres main branch. I have been experiencing endless problems since I took out a contract with CellC in November last year. Part of these problems have been fueled by miscommunication between myself and the CellC shop in Greenacres as well as the national call centre.

Kazi took time to assist in resolving the matter and provided the ray of sunshine that I needed in an otherwise usually gloomy and frustrating situation. I think when employees go the extra mile as Kazi did they deserve at least to be commended for their service. Kazi has at the very least managed to restore my hope that CellC is not necessarily a bad company but could perhaps do with more people like her.

Although my overall situation has not been resolved to my ultimate satisfaction but I am at least walking away knowing that someone did everything in their power to make the matter bearable. And at times this is all a customer wants.

Again I want to say thank you to Kazi and wish her all the best in her career development.
