Absolutely impossible to book a visa appointment online! I have had several, varying error messages and have not been able to log in several times. And no phone number to get hold of them! Many people across the world have been complaining about the same thing for years. How can a company like this which represents countries still be in business?
Great service from Mbalenhle Nkumbe. I sent a question on the Live Chat in the app and got a call shortly thereafter.
Best service when buying running shoes (maybe best retail service I've ever had!). Mzu (elite athlete) did my footfall analysis on a very detailed, high tech machine and gave me amazing running advice. Caitlin (rep) was patient, very knowledgeable (she's a biokinetisist!) and found me a running shoe within budget, with the correct specs for my running style. To top it all off, Melissa at the checkout counter helped me sort out a Discovery app issue I was having and got me a 15% discount of R250. I will never shop anywhere else for sports equipment.
I hate to write this bad review about the after sales service of Grant Strauss and Kaelyn Building Projects, as we had a good relationship during the building of my residential extension and cottage. But a year later, my cottage geyser is still not working and my tenants have had to ***gyback off the main house geyser, which costs me electricity and means that we run out of hot water during winter. Also, after joining the cottage hot water supply to the house, there has been an ongoing leak in the ceiling of the cottage, at the join of the pipes, which has twice caused the ceiling to crumble. Once, Grant Strauss sent a workman around to fix it but all he did was skim the ceiling and paint it - they never fixed the leak at the same time and now the skimming has collapsed again. We make appointments for Grant Strauss to come and do the snags (there are a few more than just the cottage geyser and leak) but every single time, he never pitches up and I hear nothing from him. This has been going on since August 2018.
Warning! Sports shoe attribute labels on the shelves are all wrong in Cavendish and Blue Route stores and the Cavendish manager admits that customers cannot believe the Running/Walking/Gym, low/mid distances, etc. info that is listed beneath each shoe. And store staff have no idea what shoe is designed for what. I went to buy new running shoes because my current Maxed (Mr Price Sport brand) running shoes probably need replacing because I've been having pain in my shins and am worried about injury. It turns out that the running shoes I purchased by reading the label saying mid distance running shoe was actually a gym shoe with no running support! Now I'm really worried about having started an injury by running in the wrong shoes! I am livid. I told the manager to turn all the attribute labels around until his lazy staff can correct them. Am going to write to their head office.
Vusi was responsive, helpful and assisted in resolving sn issue on and processing my claim within a day. I had to claim for my iPad, but you cannot blacklist iPads in SA, hence the complication. Vusi called me back more than once to clarify and update me on what to do next and eventually managed to get authorisation to process the claim without blacklisting. A 'can do' attitude - he went out of his way to reassure me and get it sorted out as quickly as possible.
Sonja Hough saved my sanity, when I had to move from JHB to Cape Town a month ahead of my household. Execu Move handled the packing that was left, from JHB to storage to Hout Bay, everything arrived in perfect condition - not a glass broken! We'll be moving into our new house from our rental in in Cape Town soon and will definitely use them again.
