Absolutely appalling service - I've been a LOYAL customer for over 13 years, and I'm about to close ALL my accounts and move to a different bank. I've been trying to get information regarding my Credit Card since last week. Was on call with someone for over an hour, and they still couldn't explain to me what was going on, now the documents was requested at the branch I opened my account with, still nothing. Now today I try using my card and get a "Validation" error, no one can explain what is going on, I hold and the operator just transfers my call to the helpline again, now I'm holding again (30mins on call already)...
What a pleasant and hassle free experience! Super convenient when searching for, booking and paying for holiday/guest accommodation!
I purchased a cycling jersey from takealot. The jersey arrived, I tried it on (without removing any labels, etc - as any sane person would do), and immediately took it off and put it back in the original box with the original plastic and label still attached as it was clearly too small. I logged a return, the return was subsequently denied for refund due to the item "not containing all original packaging/tags/etc". The only explanation here is either the seller is dishonest by removing the tag and falsely accusing me of removing the tag, or someone from Takealot removed it, as I am 150% sure and truthful in the fact that I did not remove any tags from the shirt. I then queried with takealot for more info of what exactly is missing and they never even responded to that and closed the case. Now I have cycling jersey I can do nothing with as it's too small.
Here we go again with 1-grid. I seldomly used my parked domains, so I requested to have the one domain cancelled - clearly indicating which domain. They cancel the incorrect domain and suspend the domain I requested to be cancelled. The constant billing issues, slow hosting speed, slow support portal and poor customer support has been enough now, been paying them way to long for parked domains and poor service. Cancelling my remaining services and transferring my domain elsewhere.

PLEASE DO NOT HOST YOUR DOMAINS WITH 1GRID! I log onto my website I haven't visited in a while, the entire thing has been ruined, some dodgy site that isn't loading correctly selling COVID-19 masks. None of my logins work, yet I go to my client area and select "Pay All" for my invoices as their billing system is so terrible, I can't make heads or tails, my domain name isn't even associated with the invoice anywhere, I've queried their terrible invoice system a million times and just gave up. Not getting any response from tech support as to where my website and login details have vanished to... I see now on my accounts section it seems my domain is suspended, yet I've been using their terrible system selecting "Pay all" - so not sure what is going on here. Please save yourself time and money, host your websites elsewhere, I am moving the other services/domains I have with them as well. Absolutely shocking what this hosting company has become ever since they parted ways with WebAfrica.
<p>On the 15th of December, I had my peronal loan deducted without my permission, I phoned to have it reversed. Knowing this, I phoned the collections department to check that my homeloan doesn't go off before the last day of the month, as I only get paid on the last day, the consultant (unfortutantely I never took her name) assured me it's going off on the last day of the month. </p> <p> </p> <p>Now this morning, the 21st, I received an SMS from Nedbank stating my homeloan is going of on the 23rd... I phone them. call center agent by the name of Esmé Davids tells me the debit order has already been loaded and is going off on the 23rd... again, without my permission, even after phoning on the 15th.</p> <p> </p> <p>I asked to speak to management, no one is apparently available as they're in a meeting.</p> <p> </p> <p>Pathetic service, I've been a Nedbank customer for around 8 years, Debit account, Credit card, home loan, vehicle loans, numerous personal loans, and this is the service one gets, I'm actually considering changing bank. Pathetic to say the least.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now whilst on holiday, to sit without a bond installment is an absolute disaster. The solution, "Sorry, phone back the day the debit order goes off and have it reversed" - which takes 24 hours, which means there will be ZERO money available to my wife and I for 24 hours, because Nedbank doesn't have the common decency to PHONE their clients and get verbal confirmation of earlier debit orders to go off, who reads and responds to SMS?! Especially for something as important as earlier debit orders for LARGE amounts of money for home loans, it's rediculous... bordering on insane.</p> <p> </p>
<p>In joining the organization I work for, I was introduced to VOX Telecoms as they hosted our website, managed our ADSL accounts, VPN and Routers on month to month basis.</p> <p> </p> <p>During this time, we had countless issues. VPN dropping constantly, terrible speed etc. I then terminated all ADSL accounts and router rentals. I then found out we were being billed for equipment returned to VOX, MONTHS earlier, and our incompatent accounts manager took about 3 months to sort this out, only after I complained to his manager.</p> <p> </p> <p>Fast forward a few happy "VOX free" months, and yesterday our domain went down - no notification, no call to find out if they may do it, they just disabled our domain. We are a 24 hour medical emergency service, so this is a critical issue as it affected incoming external e-mails and our website being down, etc.</p> <p> </p> <p>I phoned VOX to find out what the issues is... apparently, our domain isn't linked to our account, so it was suspended, I was then promised someone by the name of Frank Bezuidenhoudt (not 100% on the surname) was going to phone me, this was at 4pm yesterday... I sat at work waiting until 5:30pm waiting for this person to phone me, no call. I then phoned the service desk again, spoke to someone, who said they'll find out from standby and get back to me... still no call back.</p> <p> </p> <p>I came in this morning, domain still down, phoned again... spoke to Vivien from hosting department, he then got hold of the webmaster who said domain is going to take 24 hours to come back up again.</p> <p> </p> <p>So due to their incompatence our business is now affected and grinding to a hault and no one even seems to care or treat the matter as urgent.</p> <p> </p> <p>So in conclusion: DON'T EVER DEAL WITH VOX. </p> <p> </p> <p>In two years, I've had nothing but terrible service from them all accross the board.</p>
