Lancet Accounts Dept!!! What a joke! Worse than dealing with Govt entities or municipalities!!! I made a payment to them end of July using THEIR QR Code on THEIR invoice. I still get bombarded with SMS and emails requesting payment and I have emailed the POP I dont know how many times. I even called the call centre and spoke to an actual person who promised to "escalate" and get back to me and I am still waiting. I am so sick of this. Why offer various methods or options to pay when you cannot pick up these payments? Useless!
I ordered some items on 30th Nov to arrive well before Mid Dec as they were “in stock” . I called last week to query delivery you wait on line listening to the most dreadful music for ages then another 20mins while they try and get hold of the courier company . I have no idea whey such a large company uses a courier company like 1Time Express who do not even answer their phone!! I was told I would have my del “asap” I called again today and waited for 20mins only to be cut off. I cannot listen to that awful music again! The return and refund portal does not work. I just want my money back !!!
I have been on off-road bike training and 2 off-road bike tours with SA Adventure, the most recent being their Karoo 2 - 7 day tour last week. This is a MUST DO trip for any avid adventure biker. I cannot emphasise how amazing this trip was from all aspects. The route took us into the Eastern Cape, through the Baviaanskloof over Swartberg Pass into Die Hel (optional), and beyond into the greater but less travelled places in the Karoo. The riding and scenery was spectacular and SA Adventure's attention to details, route planning, preparation, safety and comfort went beyond my expectations. There is a lot goes on behind the scenes on these trips which most will not appreciate or see but as a single woman (and the only woman on this tour) I noticed and I did not feel uncomfortable or unsafe at any point. There is back up vehicle and trailer support , there is medical support, there is mechanical support and navigational support. Tim has so much experience and knowledge - I would not want to go on any other trips with any other guide to be honest. Help, if needed, is never far away. You cannot put a value on this and I could therefore relax and stop whenever I felt like it without any pressure or rush. It is one of the most memorable trips I have been on . Why is it always at least a 3 month exercise in follow up phone calls these days to get a subscription cancelled at Vodacom? After a shocking ordeal trying to cancel 2 expired data contracts to pay as you go last year which took me best part of 6 months, I called in October to cancel some bundles as I had migrated a contract and was advised to call back later in November to ensure the bundles were cancelled and were not billed for December . Well of course I was billed and they are on my latest account for December subscription . You spend 10 minutes punching in numbers etc and following prompts on the line and then you get cut off. When you do get through the person "escalates" it and then the same thing happens again next month - Its pathetic ! I am so over this ! Vodacom was never this bad !!
Was busy cancelling the policy when we in the end only cancelled the one vehicle and added another as she matched and bettered the quote I got previously. Well done
VODACOM FIBRE ACCOUNTS - USELESS FEEDBACK AND RESPONSE TIME I took a year FTTH contract with Vodacom FTTH which I had no issues with until I sold my house and gave notice. My 12 month contract was up from 12 April but they still bill you to month end - see fine print. I gave over 6 weeks notice of cancellation in writing and telephonically and since then have made several calls. They wish to charge CLAW BACK fees but when I told them that the new owner wants to continue with Vodacom and they should not charge me this I haver heard nothing but cryptic rubbish on the phone with promises of return calls that never happen. I am SO disappointed and annoyed - how hard can this be ?? I have been waiting for a mystery Janine to call me for weeks !!!
