Hi ,I bought a Mellaware kettle at Jet Home Vaal Mall and activated a 3 year warranty in 2024 May.Now I'm being told I have to bring the kettle to Johannesburg for repairs as it has stopped working, I told them I can't go there as I'm staying far in Vaal(65km drive) to that place and they said they will send someone to collect it but not from my home and the guy called me a week or 2 weeks ago to say he will call me to collect it.But today whe I was at Jet Vaal Mall the lady called Katrina (claims she is the manager)at Creative Housewares was rude and told me there is nothing they can do,I have to go to them and when I was busy on the call with her,asking for her name again ,she decided to hang up the phone on me.A kettle that cost me +- R300 can cost me more than that to travel and get it fixed.I have proof that I communicated with them via email and they can even listen to their calls as I also called them and they also called them.the very same person saying no today,she is the one I communicated with on email.im rating you zero stars
Oct 2025 I updated my details over the phone and they asked me if I have anyone to refer and I referred my little sister.They told me to do that I will get a rewards for R1000.00 and till today ,I haven't received anything. First enquiry I was told to wait for a month ,second one to download an app and now I'm told there is no referral on my name or sisters name.On the 5th Jan 2026 was told to wait for 72hrs for my outcome but till today no response.
I didn't wait long for my watsup response and got what I was looking for
Vodacom gave us the amount to pay so that they can change my mom's number from contract to prepaid.the reason for that was that the contract was on my late father's name and I paid it and sent them pop.they converted the number to prepaid but last week we received an sms from IDA attorneys to pay.the payment was done long time in March 2025 and my dad passed away in Feb 2025.
I logged a complaint 2weeks ago and I got a call from Mr Godfrey Ndou .It was about the deceased account that needed to be closed.Mr Ndou was friendly and always kept on updating me until the final stage where the accounts has been closed.He was patient with me when waiting for the documents and kept his promise.He deserve to be called best employee of the month.it only took him a week if not 2 weeks to help me.I don't have words to explain how happy me and my family are.May God keep you safe and protect you always sir.We need people like you and so wish many can learn from you.
My dad passed on in Feb 2025,my mother and I went to vaal mall branch and we where advised to get the letter of authority to close the credit card, it was the first week of March.we managed to get it and went to Vanderbijlpark branch,they didn't ask for it but processed the claim and it was approved but later in April my mom got an sms to pay the balance.we went back to the branch to ask why do we have to pay when my dad had an insurance on the credit card.the reason we got is that they tried to debit in March and they didn't get the funds.How do you debit a deceased bank account when we already went to the branch to report?my mom is not working ,she is a sassa pensioner, how is she supposed to pay for something she reported in time?
I went to Pick n Pay Family Cycad to buy and saw a price on a shelf saying R25.99 and at the till it was R56.99.Well when I ask they say the description is not the same and as a customer I didn't check the description I looked at a lesser price and funny enough the R56.99 price was not there.They told me that the price you see is the price you pay is not working and as per CPA the last time I checked it was working and the other lady was shouting saying that thing is not working anymore. I took a picture of the prices on the shelf.I ended up taking something that I didn't want and even when I got home the item doesn't even work properly.
I have been getting messages about my premiums being behind,while they are upto date.when I go to the branch I'm told I'm upto date ,I even called call center and was told everything is in order.But the sms is saying different stories and it was not the first time being harrased by old mutual. You can imagine being told by a premium of 2016 in 2024/2025 ,while is a debit order.on the 21st Feb ,I got an sms and a call now on the 24th March I got an sms about premium holiday in 2020 and premiums in 2016,2018,2019 and 2020.I have been with Old Mutual from 2007/2008 and today I'm told I'm 6months behind on my premiums.
My dad wanted to cancel the tracker as he is now a pensioner living with Sassa money and couldn't afford anymore.They said if he cancels he has to pay cancelation fee n he did not have ,its been a fight between him n them until as they used to try to debit n the bank charges him unpaid or reversal.I decided to pay the arreas as someone advised him to downgrade,they sent him a link to pay with on the 4th Sep 2024 which I paid via my banking app but till today the payment hasn't been received and they keep on harassing my dad.That is too much on him bcs he is not supposed to stress with diabetes and hig blood.Today I asked to speak to the accounts manager n she said I must send her the proof of payment which I already did on Friday via watsup.She said it takes upto 72hrs,like really the watsup responds that I got on Saturday they said pop received and it will be escalated whereas yesterday they told me it takes 5days to reflect.where is the truth in this or are you guts *****sters?
I requested a refund from Computicket on the 17th May and was asked to send my banking details wich I did n the lady sent me an email saying I will get a refund within 3 to 7 days.I called after 7 days n I was told to wait for 14days and I did,after 14 days I called again and was told to go to the store for a refund and they even sent me an email to get a refund. When I got to Cherkers they called n was told I couldn't get my refund ,I must ask the organizers to communicate with them for my refund. I left n called again found a guy who advised me to go back to the store I told him I can't as I am back at work n said I will go on Friday n Friday I called before I went to the store.when I got to the store was told they have been offline since Monday n computicket knows.Guys my petrol waisted and airtime waisted because of *********** people still no refund even today.I request a refund bcs the event venue was changed 3days before the event. Can I please get my refund, I bought the ticket online.
