This company claims that I have transferred R112 to some unknown number. I have Never initiated any sort of money dealings with mtn So I phoned their office, only to be cut short with nothingness - No resolution - No help - No suggestions - No satisfaction !
I saw some bad reports about FRUUGO a while ago. Now I recently ordered something from FRUUGO, which has NOT arrived. But it appears not to be their fault: the problem lies with the SA post office. The goods I ordered were dispatched, they have arrived in SA and have been handed over to SA postal service. It is the SA postal service that are unable or unwilling to offer any service. I took the reference to our local Post Office and they are simply unwilling or too stupid to do anything !
Suddenly I get a message on my phone to say theat I am subscribed to LIVE PLAY at R7.00 per day. I have requested NOTHING of the sort. I NEVER requested anything like this ever. Now, when I visit the MTN web-site I cannot find any way to examine my statement,. It had better NOT be making any deductions that are unauthorized nor requested.
A ***** was committed to my bank account in the morning. I reported it immediately to SAPS, and got a number. Then by 15:00hrs that same day I communicated the loss to Standard Bank. They claim that they are totally at a loss to establish where the money was transferred to. Now my understanding is that at some time each night, maybe after 21:00hrs, all the inter bank transfers occur. Thus by my reasoning they should have been able to locate and prevent the transfer of those funds out of my account, All Standard bank did at the time was offer to refund 50% of my loss. I accepted the 50%. Now the bank is claiming that I accepted that payment as a Full and Final settlement. That I did not do - I accepted it as an interim refund of my money, pending further investigation by their ***** department. Now I have been requesting updates regularly, some requests have been completely ignored, or the contact person is away on leave, and all that I am offered is some feeble excuse. Remembering, that the ***** was perpetrated at about 09:00 hrs, and at 13:00 hrs I had reported it to SAPS, and by 15:00 hrs, I had made you aware of the loss. Now according to my understanding, all transfer of funds from one account into another, happens after 21:00 hrs that night. With that established, why was Standard Bank NOT able to intercept that *****, and prevent the loss of funds. Perhaps I should seriously consider changing Banks, unless they wisen up and refund the balance owing to me.
I slipped up with not paying my insurance company and so landed up without car insurance. so, I looked at what option were most commonly advertised. Of the companies I tried, OUTSURANCE was head and shoulders above the others, with a polite and courteous person taking the details. The price was not the best , but the service certainly was.
Suddenly, and without my knowledge, MTN sends me a text message claiming that I have signed up for MTN FC at R7.00 per day. I did nothing of the sort and would like any monies that have been added to my account to be refunded immediately. ! !
I have recently complained to Standard Bank about "losing my money" They, dutifully reply with the same old garbage, and a hint that are attending to the matter - but it remains unresolved. Now the deadline of 1st June has past and the money is still lost. Are all banks as inefficient as this?
I have been banking with standard Bank for over 40 years. I have managed my affairs with this bank quite comfortably using my desktop PC. Now my daughter has sent some funds as a gift. I CANNOT GET THEM INTO MY ACCOUNT. I am told that I can only do it by using their mobile phone app ! ! ! I do not want to use the app - now my funds are in limbo and I cannot access them. What the hell is standard bank trying to achieve? ? ?
Their web-site states they have been operating for 30 years. 30 years ago was 1994 - coincidence?
I discovered this very friendly and happy wine estate recently and have been drinking their wines for some time now. The wines are excellent, the range of cultivars they offer is tremendous, and their service is exceptional. I highly recommend their offerings
