My Gautrain card is supposed expire only 31/12/27. However, someone at Gautrain thought it is profitable for them to block my card and ***** my funds. This is the response I got from my complaint: In that event, any unused value on the expired card is transferred to the Gauteng Provincial Government. This is fully compliant with the CPA regulations and was verified so by the Commissioner several years ago. This practice is a common operational measure with cards.
I ordered a "original" Canon printer cartridge at a premium price from them and receive an old (possibly second hand) cartridge. The cartridge was already dirty inside the sealed box. When I installed it in the printer it only prints black lines across the whole page and one can hardly read the text. Cannot recommend these *****sters.
I ordered a product Wednesday afternoon, and it was delivered to me Friday morning. I live on a remote farm that is very far from Amazon. What also amazed me is that I was able to purchase the product at a third of the price that was offered on Takealot.
Warning to other people consider Telkom: 1) They do not respond to complaints. Just look at Hellopeter for evidence. 2) They do not care about customer service. They still have the attitude of being a government funded corporation. 3) When you cancel your contract, you only cancel your airtime & data. Your debit orders still continue as usual. Prepare to close your bank account as well when you want to cancel your contract. 4) The only people from Telkom that will be contact you is their sales people and their legal department.
I was a bit sceptical to order a very expensive electronic device from Amazon South Africa because of all the bad reviews on Hellopeter. However, the deal was very good I decided to take a chance. My device was delivered even earlier than expected, but it did not look like the one advertised. In my case it was an even better model than advertised, so I am extremely happy with my purchase.
There was an area wide power failure in White River. The power has been restored, but the Vodacom tower never came online again. Please turn on your tower. If have direct line of sight with the tower, yet no signal on any of my devices. The tower is located at the corner of the R538 (Plascon road) and Nahemi Road.
The Vodacom tower just died in the White River. This is a huge problem for my home office which uses a *fixed* LTE contract from Vodacom. It is the tower that you find when you exit the town from Buco's road at the corner of the Plascon road. Unfortunately Vodacom had removed all methods of reporting issues like these from their website, app, call centre, email etc. Therefore, I have no other option than to report this issue on Hellopeter.
My complaints: 1) No easy way to file complaint except talking to useless Tobi robot or Hellopeter. 2) Reported multiple times before, but still not receiving my Vodapay OTPs. 3) Not receiving my Vodacom invoices (again). This used to work previously.
Telkom agent called me back and after explaining my problem the agent transferred me to the IVR without warning. Typical pass the buck, do not want to help attitude.
When I open the Standard Bank app, I login successfully but then every panel onl my dashboard contains a message "Something went wrong".
