I bought a Canon printer through Makro Online not realising it was coming from Bonolo online. For over a day I tried to connect the printer to my WiFi - made numerous phone calls and sent emails to various numbers provided in the documentation, bought a cable as instructed, downloaded an app as instructed and finally after speaking to the so called "help line" was basically told that they couldn't help!!! So, in frustration, I logged a return and went to a Game store and bought another printer. Then on 4 July 2025 (10 DAYS LATER!!) I received YouTube videos from Bonolo apparently of how to connect my phone to the printer but they were useless. And the following day received an email stating that my return was rejected!!! After getting the printer back and numerous phone calls and back and forths I could still not connect it to my WiFi so now it has gone to charity!

I bought a Canon printhead from Bonolo online and worked with David Bard, I ordered the printhead end of February and received it in March. In middle of May I installed the new printhead in my printer and it was printing very funny colours and then it started making stripes, and then it was not printing at all. I phoned David who assisted me and told him that the printhead is not right whereby he arranged for the printhead to go to Canon. He did collect the printhead from me and in thw week of the 14th of June he did send it to Canon and they have send it back to him without any job number or repair number. Then he arranged again to send it in while I was on the phone with them and then On the 23th of June he phoned me to tell me that they are refusing to accept the printhead at Canon. This is unacceptable as I did buy the damaged printhead from Bonolo and not from Canon, so Bonoloust replace the printhead or refund me my R821.15 as this is daylight ******* from Bonolo. They are refusing to replace the damages printhead and I am losing my money. Please I need urgent assistance in this matter.

I ordered a "original" Canon printer cartridge at a premium price from them and receive an old (possibly second hand) cartridge. The cartridge was already dirty inside the sealed box. When I installed it in the printer it only prints black lines across the whole page and one can hardly read the text. Cannot recommend these *****sters.

Their website is misleading, I paid r8000 for stock, they send me message to say they don't have stock and the stock required has been discontinued. Am still waiting for my refund till today. Cipc must close down this ****mers

This company is a total ****, Their systems state they have stock, we paid and then we had to call to check when our order was being processed to be told they never had the stock in the first place. We provided banking details for our refund 9+ days ago and they still refuse to either send the stock (which they dont have) or refund our purchase to date. Total ****mers , beware!

Misleading customers on delivery terms. Website said free delivery for Gauteng on orders over R500. My order was over R1000 and on checkout they added R262.50 delivery charges for Pretoria region. When I phoned them they said delivery is only free for "Johannesburg" and Pretoria deliveries are R90. Later on terms it reads Pretoria delivery R90 (for orders under R500), but they still charged R262.50 Be carefull!
