On the 20th of April 2019 I sent an official email with all my details to Discovery to cancel my car and home contents insurance policy and I also informed them that I am currently not in the country, so I was uncontactable via my South African cell number via normal phone call. They then sent me two emails between then and now saying they would contact me within 48 hours to confirm the cancellation. I then again informed them they cannot call me on my number, but gave them the alternatives to contact me via WhatsApp OR via email for communication. I received no further feedback, even though I sent numerous requests to find out what is happening about my cancellation and what the final debit order amount will be. Today (13 days after initial cancellation request), the debit order went off with the FULL amount and I am unable to reverse it on my side. This is really shocking service or lack thereof!
I booked a one-way ticket to Thailand more than a month in advance. I called Travelstart to make sure that everything is in order. When I get to check-in yesterday, they refused to let me through unless I had return ticket. So I had to buy one there on the spot which costed a fortune!!!! I could have saved thousands of Rand's Travelstart informed me! I will boycott Travelstart unless they can reply to me and make this right somehow.
I cancelled my policy on the same day as I was debited for the policy and now I can't even get my money back. So I am paying for a whole extra month even though my policy is cancelled!? How is this even legal!
I have been requesting for more than 2 weeks from this company for a simple wheel cover for the very common vehicle - 2015 Opel Corsa Ecoflex. They apparently deal with so many s****yards, yet they can't find a simple wheel cover?? really??? So I then asked to speak to the manager and the guy just laughs at me on the phone and calls some lady to speak to me. She too was extremely rude with me and began snapping away at me with a seriously ugly and snotty attitude. Customer service and manners at this place seems totally down the toilet. Thanks for nothing.
<p>My mother and I are highly displeased and disgusted with Debonairs Kempton Park ( ********** 135). I ordered two large pizzas - 1x Original Veg and 1x 3 Cheese. The 3 Cheese pizza had chicken in it!!!! The meat was so well disguised and tasteless that only after eating a couple of slices did we notice some pieces being stringy as chicken normally can be and didn't taste right either. This pizza was DEFINITELY NOT VEGETARIAN and yet the 3 Cheese is advertised as VEGETARIAN!!! This is extremely unsettling and outright disgusting and completely unnaceptable! Because I stay in Midrand, its not even worth my time to go back to Kempton Park to complain, Hence this message.</p>
I told lady in the Telkom Mobile shop that my brand new cell phone is faulty and is on contract (which I bought from them just over a month ago). She said I must wait for manager (I think he's the manager as he seemed to be the only one who could help) so she can confirm the procedure.<br> <br> The manager told me I need proof of purchase. I left store, came back later and said that it is on contract and I don't know where my receipt is but they were completely reluctant to help me anyway.<br> <br> Telkom Support line said they should have assisted me to retrieve this and that I should go to ANOTHER store and THEY will help me!? This is definitely not how customer service works. I cant even get through to the shop as they almost never answer when I call! This is a complete inconvenience. I am a new customer with a new contract and this is the kind of service I receive? That is completely unacceptable. This needs to be resolved ASAP please.
