We've paid Leslie Harmse for a Gatemotor + installation, and the installation was faulty, and the anti-theft bracket was also defective. Now that we've spent, we are being ignored. Leslie keeps on promising (when he eventually answers his phone) that he'll send someone out, but to no avail. No one is pitching to fix the problem. We want to warn others not to get trapped - Leslie is also the owner of RSACarports.co.za - he is not worth 1 star, but it seems like one cannot leave a review without choosing a star.
Complaint - they don't deserve even 1 star. We've been waiting now for 4 months for the ceiling to be fixed after they've worked on the roof (in April) of our complex. Only excuses and promises are all we receive from Godfrey for the past 4 months. 2 months ago (June), another unit's geyser burst, causing further damage to our ceiling - the water was dripping on tenants' furniture, but still they don't care. It's been 2 months, and we still await the ceiling replacement. Mr Gerhard Lombard promised me he would sort it out a week ago, the same day he said he would make a payment so that the ceiling could be replaced. This morning, Grobcon, the contractor, told me they are still waiting for payment. Mr Lombard is not answering my calls. The only trustee who really cared also resigned!

How can they put up the price of a doughnut overnight with about 30% - Which is only a piece of dough by about 30%? That is for a doughnut, while the prices of the cheesecake and apple cake remain unchanged? The manager even shook his head - he phoned a lady who just said everything gets more expensive; what a shoddy answer... If so, why are the prices of apple tart, cheesecake, and others unchanged? Anyway, a 30% increase is ridiculous.
Their service SUCK as there is no service. They only have a WhatsApp line, which is essentially useless. I paid in April for a package and customs clearance on 25/04, and it was confirmed that the package had been released. However, nothing was delivered. Where is their DEO? Counting his money? I have a printout showing that customs was paid (and a bank statement), and that the package was released, but nothing was delivered. Who took the package home? Z30004097536 Fastaway can just as well close that whatsuppline, it is useless!
Over the past 40 years, we've bought several Defy appliances and never had any problems. Unfortunately, in April this year, we purchased a new Defy stove, and within the first two months, the plates started to get marks. We insisted that a Defy technician come out. The technician, Richard, came out today and app**** a black polish, saying it is not supposed to happen again. Remember that the stove is installed in a flat in Pretoria, which is not a coastal region and is not in the rainy season either. The stove wasn't used much and was cleaned with general dishwashing liquid and a cloth. It is the 5th Defy stove. We have bought it for many years for different properties and never had this problem. - New stove plates should not rust within 10 weeks under normal conditions. Rusting can occur due to several factors, such as exposure to moisture, improper cleaning, or poor-quality materials.
No Star if it was possible. Looking at the positive reviews, I guess you were very lucky with the right so called success Managers. Mine was only pressuring me and trying to persuade me - he pressured me to invest more and more and even later suggested I sell my car! It was only BIG PROMISES, and I received NO education or the promises of empowering clients. That is ******* - well, not with the success of Manager Alex. Also, they are not returning calls, and they start ignoring you when they see you won't add more funds. The worst is that every step I took was what he told me to do - I was never educated - and yes, this is the case for the Ombudsman!
