Great service received from Zahier, even returned my call when I ran out of airtime.
We went for breakfast this morning (11 May 2025) and initially sat outside. Due to the cold weather, we asked to be moved indoors, which seemed to cause some confusion with our order. We had to follow up after waiting for an hour, and we understand that the seating change may have contributed to the delay. We eventually received our food and accepted the apology — the gentleman who assisted us was professional. However, as we began eating, the manager (an African lady) came by to check if everything was alright. We explained the issue with the order and also asked her for a bottle of sparkling water. Unfortunately, she never returned, and we ended up finishing our meal without it. The waiter eventually stepped in to assist us again. I found the manager’s behavior to be quite unprofessional, especially given that we had already expressed our dissatisfaction. Rather than helping to resolve the situation, her lack of follow-through only added to the frustration. Please consider hiring professional managers who genuinely prioritize customer service. It’s disappointing that my patience with the initial delay may have been misinterpreted as indifference, leading to us being completely disregarded. This is simply not acceptable
Today , 10 November 2024 at 19:12 I purchased white and brown bread (receipt attached). I typically do not check the dates on Woolworths bread, as it is always within the best-before date. However, while preparing sandwiches for my children, I noticed that the best-before date on the white bread was today, 10 November 2024. I immediately called the store, and the gentleman who answered apologized, acknowledging that the bread should have been removed from the shelf. He then transferred me to the Foods Department Manager, Noxy, who stated that no error had occurred, as bread is only removed from the shelf in the evening on the best-before date. She also suggested that I check the dates more carefully in the future, which I found to be an unacceptable response from Woolworths, a brand that prides itself on quality products and high standards. However, considering that the brown bread had a best-before date of 13 November, it seems clear that this was an oversight. It is frustrating that Noxy has not acknowledged the mistake. While I am not seeking a refund of R20, I do expect accountability for this error and would appreciate a resolution to ensure it does not happen again in the future. No supermarket in South Africa sells bread on its best-before date, and I never expected this from Woolworths. I am deeply disappointed.
Great service received from Joyce at Kenilworth Access Park Nike branch. She ran around the floor assisting us with shoe sizes and other customers, while remaining calm, smiling and professional. Kudus to her, I would never would have pulled through that in that pressure but with her it was just easy. I even asked if she was a store manger because wow the passion and professionalism for her job , it was amazing to experience . Thanks to her for the excellent service. Not forgetting that she gave customers baskets to carry shoes too, those who struggled to carry the shoe boxes to the pay point.
Was at the store when my 5 year old just vomited at the store. The manager on duty ( Lunga) rushed to our rescue, offered paper towels so I can clean my child and fresh water and literally calm the situation. I would sincerely like to thank Shoprite for employing staff with such calibre, humanity and making us customers feel at home when ever we at your store. Thank you
I bought bread on 26 Dec 2023 , only noticed next day that the bread was old with mould after my kids had eaten it. Sent an email on 27 Dec 2023 using the contacts on the package Until today ( 29 Dec) no one has bothered to respond to my email. Blue Ribbon is killing us and our kids . I will post same on Twitter this afternoon if no one respond to my email inwhich I had attached the photos and batch code of the bread so can investigate. I only need an explanation that’s all, no refund no vouchers , 0733024142
Great service received from the Watergate team. In the drive through, all staff were all wearing beautiful smile and very nice. Such a great welcome from the team. Service was super fast too and my orders were nicely prepared and I was super happy !!! Even had to call the manager and I thank him in person !
The place is in Obsevatory Cape Town . Absolutely nothing nice to say about this place at all. On Sunday we orders burgers with my family of 5. The burgers and chips were ice cold and burnt. Would never recommend them at all . Do not waste your money there !!!! I even told the waitress that I will lodge a complaint and she insisted that I do that because the cookers shouts at them when there’s are issues or complaints about food.
Cape Town Airport City. Great service received from Bongiwe and the branch manager. Welcoming smile and friendliness. Also the branch is super clean wow well done team! Our chicken was nicely perfectly cooked not too dry just perfect. My kids and family were super happy too. Thank you so much
This station is always short staffed. 1 attendant attends to multiple stations at the same time, I have been observing this for a while. This afternoon at 18h00 it was confirmed that only 3 attendants were booked for the shift. This is really unfair to staff for being overworked and to us customers for the inconvenience. This is the only Engen that does this exploitation of workers !! I waited more than 30 minutes to be attended to even though there were only 2 cars in-front of me. Next time you visit this station, take your camp chair as you are there to chill !!!
