Having dealt with numerous opticians over the past five decades, my experience with David in 2020 at one of the large chains was such that I absolutely had to find him after he started his private practice, and I needed a new set of spectacles. The large chain was unhelpful. His attention to detail and methodical approach to looking for the best possible outcome made for the best optician experience ever. I am glad I invested the effort in tracking him down, as the latest solution superbly and significantly cost-effectively solved a complex and tricky set of requirements. What a remarkable service experience in this day and age! When our recently acquired woodchipper experienced a malfunction after about 8 hours of use, I held my breath as a very small, insignificant, first-time client who purchased something at the bottom of the range. Adendorff usually deals with large corporate clients, large engineering firms and workshops, and small public clients like us, who are likely difficult to support effectively and probably just a nuisance. As a result, I expected the worst, as real customer service is very unusual these days. Less than 24 hours elapsed from the moment I spoke to Nico Grobler until the unit was returned. Not only did they pick up and return the unit, but they fixed it within a few hours! All at no cost. This while I was bracing myself for a call with too many excuses to contemplate... I am elated to declare: "WELL DONE!" It is remarkable to have been on the receiving end of such exemplary service!
I have been using the Ear Institute (3 different branches) since 2014, and the service experience has been spectacular. Nothing is too much effort, and always with a smile. Their staff is hands down their best asset!
Since the extensive load shedding started in late 2021, I commend the remarkable service, excellent staff, and exceptional response times. The extent of the load shedding placed a massive burden on this company, yet not once did we see a sour face. Absolutely AMAZING service and demonstrated professionalism, in a pathetically poor industry. Koos and his staff responded in record time when our washing machine decided it was time for a siesta, with our weekly washing stuck inside. They responded on very short notice, removed our washing, took the machine to their workshop, fixed and serviced it, and then returned it - all in less than 24 hours elapsed time. Should you consider appliance maintenance reviews from all listed vendors on hellopeter, you will know how unusual this recommendation is.
