I wrote a review on Aliexpress saying they were ****ming people by sending low cost goods instead of the goods ordered. I complained about the number of emails I had to send and the seemingly hands off approach to resolving the problem. Further investigation has shown me that it is not Aliexpress causing the drama but the DropShipping merchants who use Aliexpress's platform to sell their wares, and it is here that one finds the ****mers and croooked dealers. I would like to revise my opinion of Aliexpress who I found have gone out of there way to resolve my complaint even to suggesting they would expel the particular merchant I was caught by. Aliexpress went out of theeir way to recover all the money I had paid for two different lots of goods and all of this money is now credited to me in my bank. So apologies to Aliexpress for jumping thegun and a thank you for resol;ving my problem and your prompt refunding of money paid to this merchant. I will be shoppong on Aliexpress's online store with confidence. Ed Kennedy
Aliexpress a **** Artist?? I would like to warn people about a **** that appears to be supported by Aliexpress. I wanted to buy a cheap drone for the grandkids to play with and went on line to Aliexpress where I found a drone that ticked all the boxes. The display on Alieexpress web pages showed a drone with full description and a price of R218.89. On the same display underneath the drone description there is a picture of a drone landing mat with a grayed out caption “Only drone Apron “ and a price ZAR88.78. I duly went through the procedure of putting the drone in my Shopping cart and paid the R218.89 by credit card. I was given Order No. 3051648511447415 & Tracking No HA019197581ZA. Weeks later I got a message from the post office about a package waiting for me and duly charged down to get my long awaited drone. When a small `packet was retrieved from their back room I was surprised to open it and find a plastic drone apron which is sold online for R8.00. There was no sign of a drone! Aliexpress procedure for wrong goods or any complaint is to contact the seller first. This online company runs a ‘Drop shipping” business whereby they act as agents for merchants selling the goods and would pass on any orders from persons doing online shopping where after the seller will send the customer the goods bought. In my case the seller was a Chinese company called “ELiauK VIP Store” so I contacted them about my drone. They came back insisting that I had ordered the Apron and not the drone. 37 emails later I was still in an impasse with them as well as Aliexpress who insisted that I had received the right parcel. Both these companies have refused to send me the correct goods as ordered or to consider a refund. The order went in on 21 March and despite about 40 emails now and having spoken to 10 different “Service Agents” still nothing, except I am bombarded with adverts for stuff on line by Aliexpress. Moral of the story; don’t deal with Aliexpress their promises are a lot of hogwash Ed Kennedy
Had a problem with a pump that wa not working although the web page made it clear that the pumps had an issue so the six month warrantee had been withdrawn. After a number of emails trying to get a replacement pump I contacted Shawn the owner who without question instructed his staff to refund the amount paid in full and to then ship a replacement to me. Thank you Shawn that is the way a good business owner should treat his customers. Would recommend this company whose communications with a customer is first class. Eddie Kennedy
Have now sent 24 emails to this company trying to convince them to do the right thing and deliver the goods I ordered and paid for or return the amount paid by me. I have also spent long periods of time trying to get through by telephone all to no avail. They just place you on hold and then forget about you. Good people DO NOT even think of doing business with this crowd. Dont even look through their web page because they will sucker you in and just take you money. A really UNRELIABLE *****ED Company
I have just published a scathing review o my experience with an online shop called Reliable Store. Would like to compare this experiences with Takealot who I have found to be totally on the ball as far as delivering purchases, replacing goods that I was not happy with, refunding money when goods I wanted could not be delivered . I would recommend this store to anyone who need an honest and "reliable" online shop to do business with. Ed Kennedy Hillcrest KZN
I'm at my wits end. I ordered goods from Reliable on line Store on 24 September and by mistake duplicated the order the next day. I immediately sent an email cancelling the duplicated order. On 26 September the courier arrived with two parcels. On checking I could see the the wrong goods had been sent so I refused to sign for these parcels. The next day the courier was back with the wrong parcels and I was asked to sign for them but take a picture of the goods and send it to the store. Since then I have sent 26 emails and 4 SMS messages asking for my purchase I no longer receive any acknowledgement from them. Trying to phone is impossible. Every time you get a recording telling you that you are "Number X" in line and current delay is "X minutes. Do not buy anything from this store. They will take your money and ignore all calls to replace or refund. This is the worst on line store I have ever experienced. E C Kennedy Hillcrest KZN
