I would like to comment about my interaction with Pool Sharks who assisted me with various problems I had with my pool. I experienced them as professional, knowledgable, reliable, committed and extremely hands-on. They assisted me on a daily basis for a week with house visits, until the problem was sorted out. Furthermore, their pricing is very competitive for their products and service. I will certainly use them again. What a pleasure!
Unbelievable service. Ordered ink cartridges at 22:00. Delivery next day at 19:00! This is the fastest delivery of cartridges I have experienced so far. Their price was also the lowest with FREE delivery nogal! That is now going the extra mile to delight.
Customer service was brilliant - very responsive and agile. They replaced a damaged ink cartridge and had delivered a new one in record time. Very impressive.

I have submitted a hospital claim as I have a Hollard Hospital cash policy which I took out 30 years ago. The claim was submitted on 21 October with supporting documents. I received conformation that I will be contacted within 2 business days. The claim was submitted 19 business days ago. I sent follow up email to no avail. I tried to phone to follow up on the number supplied in the mail, but it is impossible. Nobody is answering the phone. I went through the switch board, I was transferred to the wrong department and then to another department, but the phone just rings or a recorded voice saying "our consultants are currently busy..." for 10 minutes or more. I made 4 calls and all have been unsuccessful. Previously I stayed on the line for 40 minutes with no response. The numbers I phoned were 0800252467 and 0861000107. Hollard just has NO customer service. I can't even say it is bad, it just doesn't exist. I am very worried as I have other policies as well as life insurance policies with them also.
I have been trying to get a new licence key for 2 weeks now for my virus product that has not been renewed. I don't know why. I have sent a query ticket because I had to wait for 20 minutes for technical support, on 17 August. After waiting for FOUR days without a response I phoned again and after a long wait I spoke to a technician. I tried his instructions but needless to say it was incorrect. Today I tried again phoning because I have a security risk on my PC. I was sent from pillar to post, had to authenticate my account FOUR times, got disconnected TWICE. I spent in total 41 minutes after I got disconnected again. Nobody knows how to assist me. Everyone is telling me came through to the wrong department. the last person I spoke was a Busisiwe who promised I will go straight through, but I got cut off after waiting again for 5 minutes as I didn't make a selection. I couldn't as it was not relevant. I am fed up!!
I have a few insurance policies with Hollard Insurance. I submitted a hospital claim with the relevant documents on 5/4/2019 via e-mail and received a response that I will be contacted within 2 business days. If no contact I must follow up. I waited and resubmitted claim and documents on 16/4/2019 and received the same automated response. I followed up and received a reference number and was told that the claim was in progress. I phoned again today 20/5/2019 and held on for 30 minutes after I was told that my call will be transferred. I have another hospital policy with AIG, which I submitted before the Hollard claim and was paid within 24 hours on 5/4/2018. Hollard's service is not even bad there is NO service to policy owners. I pay my policies monthly. I have now decided I will cancel ALL my policies at Hollard because there is NO response when you claim. So what's the point. I am contacting the Insurance Ombud with the information.
I am writing this review on behalf of a subscriber living in Morgenzon MP who has been without cellphone reception for a week now. Nothing has been done by Vodacom to restore the connection. The Vodacom subscribers cannot do internet banking, make emergency calls for medical assistance, police or any other urgent business in this time before everything shuts down. This is a very small isolated town and the Vodacom subscribers have been left stranded. They cannot even phone Vodacom. This is really shameful support!
