First time ordering from Amazon South Africa, check out was great and even fast delivery, same day 10/01/2026 between 12-3pm. Which you pay a smidge more for. The courier company is Picup (DPL). Today is the 12/01/2026 and I have still not received my parcel. Picup whatapp notifications on Saturday showed the driver (Donat Tshonda) was on his way at 15:09. When I used the Track Delivery option it showed he was 23kms away. At 15:16 Driver was unable to deliver Amazon Package, then immediately after that at 15:16 again Donat Tshona arrived with your Amazon Package! Please meet your driver. When I called the driver after 4pm he said my package was returned and was extremely rude. Apparently they will deliver it sometime. I did not pay for delivery sometime, I paid for Saturday 10/01/2026. between 12-3pm. I have called the DPL call centre and still haven't received any feedback on the status of my delivery, to find Amazon's call center number is a complete waste of energy. I will never order from this place again until they change their courier company.

Amazon should use more reliable delivery service as it advertises a delivery option that does not get fulfilled.
I have done a return on the item I purchased as it did not contain the vital part I needed. Alyssa Brijlal responded eventually and gave me the address and details I need fo the return. Since then I have not heard from Alyssa and can not get hold of anyone at Evertrend. I just want my money back. Customer service is terrible.
I receive approximately 3-5 calls a day from MBD from Monday to Saturday starting from before 7am. I have an account with gets paid monthtly via debit order without fail. I have called in to ask that this calls be stopped, some of these consultants are extremely rude. I get charged for every call MBD makes. It is ridiculous and unacceptable, if i missed a payment then by all means call me but I haven't.
I logged a claim on the 27/05/2024 it was assigned to Sphiwe Dlamini. I forwarded all the information as requested. Sent follow up emails, no reply. No confirmation that information has been received. I called the call center and got asked to send everything to an agent named Goodness. Still not reply. Today I called and advised I am going to cancel my agreement with Dial Direct. My claim got finalized very quickly after that. The excess is more than the payout. I got charged a R2000 Lighting/Power Surge excess, my Annual Review states R1500 dated November 2023. For me not to cancel the retention department offered me a reduction if monthly fees with a new Lighting/Power Surge excess which indicates R2000 after being advised that my excess would not change.
The tracker on my car has been faulty since it's been installed. This was part of my insurance package and not something I personally wanted. I get numerous amounts of alerts and calls even if I'm just standing still in traffic, no reckless driving, no excessive breaking yet I receive impact alerts. I have logged calls for a technician to attend CAS-7262405-Z6W5 CAS-7155523-L3G2 CAS-6939490-J6X9 the technician didn't pitch when he was supposed to. No explanation, no courtesy call to reschedule. This is frustrating as I get irritated being called nearly daily for absolutely no reason. I don't have time to respond to sms while driving either. Customer service is extremely bad. I want this tracker out of my car.
