I am extremely disappointed with the service received from AC Direct Installations following an installation at 43 Jordaan Street (Appointment Number: AP-3385). The technician, Brian Tanaka, carried out work that has resulted in serious damage: * The drip pipe was not extended correctly and was left inside the wall, causing damp and internal water damage. * Holes drilled into the roof were not sealed or waterproofed, which has now led to flooding in one of the bedrooms during recent rains. * Despite reporting these issues directly to Brian, and being promised that he would return to fix them, he is now unresponsive and ignoring communication. This level of workmanship and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable, especially given the extent of the damage caused. I am requesting urgent intervention from management to resolve the matter and repair the damages without further delay. Dirk Jacobs
I’ve attempted to onboard with Payfast twice now, and both experiences have been extremely frustrating. Payouts are delayed for up to 14 days after clients have already made payments, with little to no communication or transparency around timelines. This creates unnecessary stress when trying to manage cash flow in a business. Customer support has been equally disappointing. I’ve spent over 25 minutes on hold trying to speak to a manager, and when you do get through, the level of professionalism is concerning. Instead of resolving issues, the experience feels dismissive—especially when you’re already dealing with delayed funds. Overall, the process feels disorganised and unreliable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Payfast for businesses that depend on timely payouts and responsive support.
My car, with a fender bender, has been in their shop since May 28. Their communication is atrocious, they never respond to messages nor to they answer their phones. Discovery Insure has also not been able to get ahold of them. Stay away!

Consultant to gave me a quote made a mistake on my address. I tried to correct it multiple times, but he said I don’t need to worry about it. I accepted quote - after it went to the underwriters and after they made me install the Discovery Drive device (and pay for it myself mind you) the insurance quote was suddenly much higher due to my address being different! They refuse to honour the initial quote. I went with a different insurer.
Never answers their phones, WhatsApp chat doesn’t work (no one responds), website chat doesn’t work. The app cannot load anything. Unbelievable!
Be warned! The worst experience I’ve ever had with a bank. Account placed on hold for no reason, then asked to visit a kiosk (I thought it’s an online bank?) just to discover none of the PnP near me has a kiosk. Every-time you call you’re placed on 46 min plus holds and the calls are just dropped. I still do not have access to my money! Will close this account as soon as it’s resolved. Be warned!
