Review: No amount of stars can justify the utterly disgraceful service we’ve received from Sanlam. My husband was contacted in March by a tracing company about a surplus that was supposedly payable to him. We promptly sent all the requested documents, which were then forwarded to Sanlam in June. Since then, it has been nothing short of a nightmare trying to get any assistance. We have made countless attempts to reach someone – anyone – at Sanlam who can help us, but to no avail. The call volumes are consistently sky-high from 07:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and the longest we’ve been kept on hold is a ridiculous 1 hour and 30 minutes. We even tried calling the agents allegedly handling our case, but their numbers are a dead end – they simply don’t go through. The call center is utterly useless, offering no solutions or even a glimmer of hope that our case is being handled. When I called the reception at Sanlam (021 9163031), I was basically told that the world has changed when it comes to providing excellent service – as if that’s an excuse for this ********** experience! It is now NOVEMBER, and still, not a single person has bothered to reach out to my husband or even attempt to contact him. We have several phone numbers on hand, but NONE of them work. This is beyond frustrating – it is completely unacceptable. Sanlam, you should be ashamed of this disgraceful level of service. The lack of communication and disregard for your customers is nothing short of appalling. Get your act together!

new clients get the 20mbps @R699 deals ( black friday and cyber monday ) but existing clients are not looked after. why cant this deal be extended to existing clients as well? should i go on that package i will be paying an arm and a leg just because i choose you as my SP more than two years ago. PLEASE LOOK AFTER YOUR EXISTING CUSTOMERS TOO.
