I am sharing my experience to highlight the poor after-sales service I received from Kia Tygervalley. I purchased my vehicle in January, and despite reporting issues shortly after, it took the dealership two months to give any attention to the concerns. When Kia finally booked the vehicle in for three days, they committed to completing: A full valet Paint repair Replacement of the towbar cap However, upon collecting my vehicle, none of these tasks were completed. The paint repair was done exceptionally poorly (looking like smeared correction fluid), the valet was not done, and the towbar cap was not replaced. Although I received feedback, there was never a practical solution or corrective action, despite multiple follow-ups from my side. At this point, I have chosen not to engage further. I will be replacing the towbar cap myself and arranging the valet that should have been completed at the time of sale. If Kia Tygervalley chooses to resolve this matter by reimbursing the costs I had to cover myself, I will gladly update my review to reflect that resolution. However, I will not be returning my vehicle to this dealership in the future. This experience has been far below the standard expected from a reputable dealership, and I hope this helps future customers make informed decisions.

Terrible car‑buying experience. Purchasing my Kia Sportage at this dealership was extremely frustrating. Poor communication throughout — I was told I could collect my car, then told I couldn’t because payment wasn’t reflecting. How do you arrange collection without checking first? Licensing took two weeks just to be app**** for, and over a month later I’m still waiting. Very unprofessional service. Dealing with Carl and Morne. Would not recommend.

Bought a Kia recently at Kia Tyger valley. The sales service and process was very fast and very good. The problem is that the temporary licence expired 11/01/2026. I paid a decent amount for Kia to make sure that the license and registration gets done. It is now the 14th and there is no license plates and registration forthcoming. I cannot drive the vehicle anywhere as that will be ******* which means that should there be an accident my insurance wont pay out a claim. I cannot go anywhere. I think it would be faster if I did the license and registration myself. Think a bit how this impacts my ability to go to work and emergencies and the work around for me to get anywhere. It is turning into a nightmare for my household.

PATHETIC! I've been complaining about the same issue in my car since July and they say there's nothing wrong. Took it for 15000km service and it came back with only a terrible wash, everything is the same and not even the wipers were changed. This dealership really sucks. The thought of it (everyday since I drive everyday) really ruins my day. I wish I knew further steps to take instead of just a review. Head of service department Jonathan Sampson and Service administrator Anthea can't even hide their disinterest, always dropping calls on me.

I just want to say thank you to Luyanda, one of the sales men at Kia Tygervalley, made my experience one of the best so for on getting my new Kia Sonet. He followed up to make sure I'm still happy with the vehicle. I really appreciate it, thank you so much for the amazing service

My sister uses Kia Tygervalley for service her car she took in this morning before 8am as we start working at 8am- i needed to take her to go collect once its done- i prompted her to call now at 13:50 to enquire. They respond they only starting to work on the car now, they'll only be able to get the car done after 16:00today .... Mind you there was a string of cars behind us for service too- what time will they be receiving their car today? How is it possible that nothing has been done all morning yet you are advised to bring in your car early morning.

I first enquired about the Kia Sonet back in November 2024, and that’s when I received a call from Linton Witbooi. Due to some personal circumstances at the time, I wasn’t able to go for the test drive, but Linton didn’t forget about me. He followed up again in January 2025, and we finally scheduled that long-awaited test drive. I drove the Kia Sonet and instantly fell in love. At the time, I was still driving my trusted Datsun Go. We went ahead with my finance application, but unfortunately, I didn’t qualify due to my credit score. Gerda in F&I was very supportive and advised me to try again in 3–4 months once I had worked on my score. I told Linton we’d do the application in July as a birthday gift to myself. Life, however, had other plans. I was recently in an accident with my beloved Datsun Go and was forced to part ways with it. I now urgently needed a vehicle. And just like that, one month earlier than planned, my dream came true — not just with any Sonet, but with a brand new 2025 Kia Sonet in the beautiful Pewter Olive. Linton, thank you for walking this 9-month journey with me. You never gave up, always checked in, sent sneak peeks and photos, and most importantly — you always reassured me that I would drive my Sonet one day. And today, I am proudly doing just that. Your service, care, and dedication have been exceptional. From the very beginning right through to after-sales, you’ve made me feel like more than just a customer. I will definitely be recommending you to anyone looking for honest, helpful and top-quality service. Thank you again, Linton Witbooi and Kia Tygervalley — I’m one happy customer!
