This is one of the worst ever Insurance Company's in South Africa. January 2025 I lodged a claim regarding my Aircon Unit that was damaged in the Storm. A full damage report was sent to them. The Claims Handly immediately rejected the claim. I then notified him to open the report, read and Comprehend the Report. He the opened a claim and send through and ASSESSOR. Days late another Company was send to give a SECOND QUOTE since the first quote was too high. Second Quote was sent to them. DAYSSS LATER i emailed regarding progress. THE claims supervisor then emails me to notify me that she went through the email THREADS and the claim was rejected. WOW some supervisor, obviously did not even look at the file. Unfortunately our Body Corporate took the liberty of Using the Same insurance Company that operates as our Managing Agent.
Purchased items from Truworths La Lucia. Clothes did not fit so went to Truworths West Street Durban Store. They refused to take in refund until I Pay 45.00 rands. What utter nonsense, the very first time that I have heard of this outrageous fees.
Woolworths why bother having customer service. I made 15 calls to Woolworths financial services regarding my store card. *********** staff were too lazy to attend to my call. Every call was first put on hold then cut off. Is this the type of service that woolworths renders? Disgusted with the pathetic unprofessional agents.
I have installed a TRELLIDOOR security gate in 2018... The gate began rusting badly within 6 months, after putting up with this eye I contacted Trellidoor requesting advise on how to refurbish this gate which everyone knows is not cheap, I was told that this Gate will be REPLACED at no cost as it is still under the Five Year Guarantee. The Gate was replaced in 2020. In 2023 the Gate started rusting again, I could not phone Trellidoor as I tragically lost my husband, I contacted Trellidoor today and was told that the guarantee is only 3 years. So the advertised 5 year guarantee is actually very misleading. Trellidoor. Cheaper alternatives are far more economical. After paying a fortune for trellidoor it is only guaranteed to last for 3 years.
My husband Died on 16.05.2023. I phoned Hollard Insurance informing them of his death. Hollard subsequently stopped his premiums from going off end at end May. I emailed them in September on progress of my claim, received an automated reply. I then contacted the broker in charge who contacted Hollard Insurance and was told that the policy lapsed in MAY........Is this a joke, did they expect a dead man to come pay his policy until such time the claim is processed. Wake up Hollard
Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to be so badly treated by Absa Bank. I recently lost my husband and was paid out by my Insurance, I invested my money in Absa (Aims) and on consultation I was told about the cooling off period and no penalties will be levied, I will receive my ENTIRE savings with absolutely no deductions. Still in a state of mourning I signed all necessary Documents. Absa Aims sent me the paperwork after reading the documents i was not happy and then enforced the cooling off period within a few days. Absa Bank had the audacity to deduct R200000.00 as a penalty creating a huge dent in my savings. One does not even accrue that amount of interest in months. Utterly disgusted with this BANK and the misleading information provided .
Imagine buying a Brand New Car and NO MATS SUPP****. Mats are an optional extra according to the Manager. What a joke. Mats supp**** with all cars are now an optional item to purchase separately. I still cannot get over this JOKE..BAIC seriously needs to rethink their marketing strategy as well as their preferred stockist in South Africa.
Trafalgar Property Management are the Managing Agents of our Building in Durban. Our body corporate is 100percent white,despite owners being of mixed Races. Our Chairman ,was a former supervisor in the building. He could not account for R960.00 of his R1000.00 allowance, despite this he was still nominated and elected as Chairman. Trafalgar , despite the minutes of all AGMS of our Body Corporate requesting that owners be notified of all major expenses, and three quotes being obtained for all work outsourced DOES NOT NOTIFY any owner of this. The Chairman outsources the PAINTING CONTRACT of our Building to a Company that he is managing Director of. Trafalgar does not see fit to RED FLAG this. When I queried this 'FRAUD' quotes were sent to me with later dates. Trafalgar allows the Reserve funds to be the Chairpersons Personal ***gy Bank. The Chairperson runs a full on laundry service in one of the units. TRAFALGAR AND THE TRUSTEES Claimed to have no knowledge of this. Ignorance of blatant mismanagement and total lack of respect of AGM resolutions makes one wonder whether TRAFALGAR should continue being Property Management Agents.
Tracker fraudently issued a mandate on my bank account for R1131.00 per month.I dont even have a vehicle.Is this a new scam
Absolutely disgusted with Momentum . This company took over the short term insurance of Alexander Forbes and unfortunately they cannot offer the same excellent service of Alexander Forbes. My Insurance claim was turned down by theit so called professional who I am sure was paid the equivalent of my claim to lecture the client on Power Surge, The Condescending attitude of the Assessor or rather electricity expert will eventually bring a lot of disrepute to Momentom . Please momentum get out of the Short term Insurance industry we you are not prepared to pay out claims to NON WHITES.
